<p>AP's footwork and motor are the initial things that stand out when she's playing defense. She doesn't let up when she's guarding a ball handler. <p>Young is a defender that seems to be all over the place when she's on defense. <p>Jones is one of the tougher defenders in the state. She has the quickness to keep ball handlers in front of her and is physical enough to not be backed down easily. <p>Simpson is one of the more athletic players in the state and that contributes to her being stellar on defense. Her range is very good also as she gets deflections and blocks shots. She gets steals in bunches with a good motor and active hands. <br></p>
