Lawrence has been raked in the Top 15 which is great but she will be among one of few upper classmen on this Lone Peak squad that will be young. With a firm foundation out in the perimeter with her shooting she does have an off the bounce game that could really come in handy if Lone Peaks shooters are shot ready. Lawrence has an opportunity to really elevate her and she has the skills to do it.
Muffett is dominant at the high school level and her size has a lot to do with that as she can play multiple positions. At the club level she is doing the little things out there. She is handling a bit, she is rebounding and she is moving the ball well. This is something that you need to pay attention to as she can do whatever she needs to do to impact the game. Look for her to take that knowledge to the high school season and make some moves and level up.
The Swiss Army Knife skill set that she has been using at her high school has been on display on her club team. Patterson shoots the ball well from deep but she has strength and power and she can pick n’ roll and pick n’ pop. She has a reasonable handle that can get her to the rim and the physicality doesn’t bother her and she can finish through it.
Highlights
King is under the radar with her size and ability. She can step out and shoot the ball from deep and she moves quickly to get her spots and her feet set. She can also do work in the paint with her contest and she can wall up and block shots as well. Look for her to run the floor and finish at the rim and she can can step out and fill the wings as well. Look for her to have a great year.
Olsen plays with a lot of confidence and if you leave her open even just a bit out in the perimeter she is going to put it up and she has a great shot and a great touch. She can be a zone buster with her shooting but look for her to bring what she is doing at the club level to her high school and have a big game.
Highlights
Great size and strength as a PF and she is bound to have a standout season. Don’t think we are not expecting her to do her thing in the paint but she is also going to spread the floor, she has great mechanics out beyond the arc.
