The 2023-24 season yielded tremendous results and performances from an individual standpoint but also prompted great team play. With that being said, two frontcourt players — Rylie Whitehair Rylie Whitehair 6'2" | C Gallup | 2025 State NM and Kyndle Cunningham Kyndle Cunningham 6'0" | PF Hobbs | 2025 State NM — have entered the top 10 for the class of 2025 after each having stellar seasons overall.

Eldorado High School All-Time Points Leader
Hines, the No. 22 ranked player in the HoopGurlz Super60, is versatile three-level scorer with an elite handle and incredible shooting range. The five-star prospect is a LSU commit and member of the 2,000 point-club, who has gone back-to-back seasons leading the State in scoring. In 30 games played, the 5’10” CG averaged a mind-blowing 32.5 points per game on 39/33 splits (FG%/3P%) totaling 974 points for the 2023-24 season while making a whopping 138 3PM!!

Benally, who was recently named the Gatorade Player of the Year, is a two-way playmaker with a terrific motor. The speedy PG does a tremendous job of creating off the bounce and is a willing passer who has great vision. This past season, in addition her 21.5 point and 6.2 rebound stat-line, Sydney averaged an outstanding 3.9 assists per game, recording 121 total in 31 games played. This was the third straight season in which Benally has posted triple-digit assists.
Benally has more than 20 official offers with multiple mid-majors on her radar — UNM, NMSU, SDSU, CSU, UTSA.

Clay is a physical wing that can score in bunches when in a rhythm. Bhret is active without the basketball and gets to her spots with a great handle and even better footwork. Several colleges — Division I and Division II — are keen on the 5’9″ SG. Aforementioned institutions include SMU, UTSA, West Texas A&M, ENMU, and WNMU.

Hargrove is a skilled PG with a high IQ. Brynn can stretch the floor with her outside shot and is an excellent passer out of p’n’r actions, especially to the screener. The 5’6″ guard has an offer from Mary Hardin-Baylor, and recently racked up another from New Mexico Highlands.

Whitehair is a multi-level scorer who can dominate down low and step out and hit the 3ball. Rylie’s ability to draw multiple defenders/double teams is remarkable. The 6’2″ junior is a tough matchup for any opposing frontcourt player; A byproduct of having elite footwork and a soft touch.

Mila is a fierce competitor who makes winning plays on both ends of the floor. Espinoza is slowly turning into a ‘3 & D’ type player after averaging 12.9 points and 3.1 steals per game with 64 3PM in 30 games played this past season.

Giddings is a savvy lefty that can hurt opposing teams with her ability to score both in the open court and in the paint area. Hope runs the floor well and likes to create ‘early offense’ for Sandia. In 30 games played, the 5’9″ junior posted 12.4 points per game and 3.8 assists, shooting 43 percent from the field overall. For the time being, Giddings has been offered by two RMAC programs, Adams State and NMHU.

Pacheco is a fundamentally sound PG with a good feel and pace to her game. In 24 games played, Alexis tallied 439 points which averaged out to 18.3 points per game respectively. Furthermore, Pacheco is a great rebounder — 5.5 rebounds per game — who helps her team obtain second chance opportunities on one end and helps secure stops on the defensive end.

Cunningham is a physical frontcourt player that is comfortable operating from the mid-range. On the flip side, Kyndle is a defensive anchor who shines as a shot blocker. The 6’0″ forward does a great job of staying vertical on the contest and gives her teammates a safety blanket, in regards to being a reliable help side defender. At this point, Cunningham has been offered by multiple Division II programs such as West Texas A&M, ENMU, and WNMU.

Audri is a lanky forward with the mobility/handles of a guard. Wright has good size and is capable of playing/defending multiple positions. In 31 games played this past season, Wright averaged 9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 47 percent from the field, helping Sandia claim the 5A crown. Wright has a few offers on the table with NMHU, WNMU & Trinidad State College all interested.
