Anna Boone Anna Boone 5’10” | CG Crittenden County | 2026 State KY had a phenomenal sophomore season for Crittendon County High School. She led the team in scoring with 22 PPG and finished the season in the top 20 for scoring leaders in the state. Anna has “big time” scoring ability and can deliver from anywhere on floor. She is also a reliable free throw shooter that shot an impressive 80.2% from the line converting 215 out of 268 of her attempts. Anna eclipsed 1000 career points, was named 2nd region player of the year, and led the Lady Rockets to a 2nd Region All A Classic championship.

Unique Carter-Swanigan played at a very high level in her sophomore season at Owensboro High School. She helped guide the Lady Devils to a Sweet 16 state tournament appearance, where she had a star-studded performance scoring 15 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, dished 2 assists, and came up with 3 steals in a tough first round loss to Henderson County. Unique plays fearless, she is a wiry guard that is deceptively quick and has the handles to get anywhere she wants on the court. She is also a streaky 3-point shooter and a excellent on-ball defender. (Featured Image)

Megan Simpson Megan Simpson 6’1″ | C Nelson County | 2026 State KY was a dominant force in the interior for Nelson County during the HS season. She averaged a double-double on the season with 13 PPG and 10 RPG. The 6’1 center does a terrific job scoring inside, crashing the boards, and protecting the rim on the defensive end. Megan reached 500 career rebounds as a sophomore and had several games with 20+ points and 10+ rebounds.

Franklin County finished 30-7 on the season, won the 11th region title, and made it to the Sweet 16 for the second time in 3 years. Logan Kennedy Logan Kennedy 5’8″ | PG Franklin County | 2026 State KY played very well during the regular season and shined bright in the post-season. She helped the Lady Flyers win their 11th straight district championship by scoring a team-high 16 points and was named the Most Outstanding Player. Logan is a stout defender that uses active hands to force turnovers and come up with steals. She does a good job running the floor and making herself available to score in transition as well. I also like her ability to get others involved, knock down perimeter jumpers, and score off the bounce.
As a sophomore Izzy Medley Izzy Medley 5’9″ | PF Washington County | 2026 State KY led Washington County in scoring with 13.4 PPG and rebounds pulling down 8.3 RPG. She is big with guard-like abilities that can make an impact on both ends of the floor. Izzy is an exceptional passer, and a very good low post scorer, that has a knack for telegraphing passes to come up with steals on defense.
