<p>The high school season is in the rear view mirror across the Carolinas and the academic Spring semester is nearing its final days. That, of course, means the travel season is close to commencing and it will once again include one of the premier names in North Carolina AAU basketball.</p>

<p>[program_tooltip program_id='714756' first='Carolina' last='All-Stars'] out of Durham, headed by coach Ty Cox, will field four teams over the next several months. One of those teams is its 15U squad. The organization will also include a pair of 17U teams as well as a 16U team. </p>

<p>Without further adieu, here is a look at [program_tooltip program_id='714756' first='Carolina' last='All-Stars'] 16U E40 team. </p>

<p><strong>Hadley Chang</strong> – Chang took to the court on 24 occasions this past season as a freshman for the 4A Cougars of Wake Forest. She is the only representative from the Cougars on this year's 16U roster.</p>

<p><strong>Ashlyn Hudson</strong> – Hudson is listed at 5-foot-8 on the roster of 3A Southern Durham. The Spartans are coming off a 24-6 season. She is also a multi-sport athlete who also competes in volleyball alongside her basketball accolades. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='686451' first='Abigail' last='Bennah']</strong> – Two seasons ago, Bennah was a freshman who was part of a Panther Creek team that won the 4A championship for the year 2022-23. Bennah is one of two from the Catamounts on the roster. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='573554' first='Layla' last='Clark']</strong> – Clark will be a worthwhile addition to the [program_tooltip program_id='714756' first='Carolina' last='All-Stars'] family. Previously, she ran with [program_tooltip program_id='713820' first='Queen' last='City Ballers'] on the club circuit. She averaged 6.1 points in 30 games as a sophomore for Providence Day. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='922574' first='Wynne' last='Kinahan']</strong> – Kinahan is the other representative from 4A Panther Creek that will sport [program_tooltip program_id='714756' first='Carolina' last='All-Stars'] 16U E40's signature black and gold colors over the next few months. She adds to what the team can get accomplished in the backcourt. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='652118' first='Zihanna' last='Lightfoot']</strong> – Lightfoot has put together stellar seasons the last several years on the club campaign. She is also coming off a 2023-24 season that saw her North Pitt Panthers claim the 2A state championship. </p>

<p><strong>Victoria Holden</strong> – Holden had a breakout season in 2023-24 for Northern Durham. She averaged 8.6 points and 2.4 steals as a sophomore for the 4A Knights. Holden is listed at 5-foot-4 on the Northern Durham roster. </p>

<p><strong>Sa'Nayia Coppedge</strong> – Speaking of sophomores that put together breakout seasons in 2023-24, Coppedge definitely did that for 2A Beddingfield. Coppedge averaged 7.3 points in the 22 games for the Bruins last year.</p>

The 6-foot-2 standout is one of the premier frontcourt players in the Hoop State.</p>

<p><strong>Jane Kern</strong> – Kern's athletic plate is very full between the junior varsity soccer she plays alongside what she does on the basketball court. Kern averaged 10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in 21 games last season for 4A Broughton. </p>
