That organization is Carolina All-Stars . Based in Durham and headed by Coach Ty Cox, it will field four teams this travel campaign. Two of those teams will be 17U teams – one of which is part of the Elite 40 League and the other will compete in the NE2K Hoops League.
Without further adieu, here is a look at the Carolina All-Stars 2025 team that will be part of the Elite 40 realm.
Taliya Rowe Taliya Rowe 5'9" | CG Rolesville | 2025 State NC – Rowe played a key role in the 2023-24 rendition of Rolesville that prevailed over Charlotte Catholic to win a 4A state championship. She averaged 12.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 steals a game.
Jahriell Murchison Jahriell Murchison 5'5" | PG E.E. Smith | 2025 NC – Prior to the start of last season, Murchison landed her first college offer at Pfeiffer University. Her 3A E.E. Smith team finished with a 20-8 season and she averaged 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.7 steals. She also played volleyball.
Samiyah Barker Samiyah Barker 5'6" | CG Hillside High | 2025 State NC – Previously on the AAU circuit, Barker ran with Triangle Lady Knights . Barker led 4A Hillside to a record of 18-9 last season and averaged 18 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.4 steals per game.
Isa Roman Isa Roman 5'8" | CG Grace Christian Sanford | 2025 State NC – Roman is the lone representative from the state basketball powerhouse that Grace Christian has been these past few seasons. She averaged 9.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.7 steals in 30 games last season for the Crusaders.
McKenzie Graves McKenzie Graves 5'7" | CG North Raleigh Christian Academy | 2025 State NC – Graves has played at the varsity level since she was a seventh grader with Durham Academy. She now is entering her final AAU season and calls North Raleigh Christian Academy her basketball home.
Bianca Negrerios – Negrerios is one of two representatives from Mount Zion Christian Academy that make up this year’s Carolina All-Stars 17U E40 roster. She is the only representative from the school who is a 2025.
Danauje Brooks Danauje Brooks 5'4" | PG E.E. Smith | 2025 State NC – Brooks is the other representative other than Murchison who will represent 3A E.E. Smith on this year’s Carolina All-Stars 17U E40 roster. She previously ran on the club circuit with Carolina Force and Lady Attack Elite .
Sumaiya Ibrahim – Ibrahim is the other representative outside of Negrerios that will represent Mount Zion on this year’s Carolina All-Stars 17U E40 roster. Ibrahim is another 2024 on this year’s assembling.
Sydney Ballard – Ballard was part of a 2023-24 Seaforth team that advanced to the semifinals of last season’s 2A state championship. She is a two-sport athlete who also plays volleyball in addition to her basketball exploits.
Ella Pierre-Louis – Pierre-Louis is one of two seniors that will run on the club circuit one more time. She primarily operates as a three forward but can also spend time as a wing. She is the lone representative from 4A D.H. Conley on the team.

May 25-27: Memorial Day Classic – Charlotte, NC
June 7-9: US Open Championships – Winston-Salem, NC
July 5-7: Deep South Classic – Raleigh, NC
July 11-16: Run 4 The Roses – Louisville, KY
July 18-19: The Splash – Louisville, KY
July 20-22: National Championships – Louisville, KY
July 26-30: NCAA Club Championships – Rock Hill, SC
