Vetter is a prospect out of the 2027 Class but you'd never be able to tell while she was out there competing with her [program_tooltip program_id='716010' first='Western' last='Iowa Express'] 2026 team. She ended the weekend averaging around 13 PPG on the offensive side of the floor, scoring in a plethora of different ways, while also playing scrappy defense on that side of the ball. There were a handful of prospects who played up and competed this weekend, holding their own at a high rate and Vetter is in that conversation. This isn't the first time that I've had a chance to see Vetter compete but she is definitely getting better, every time I do have a chance to step in and see her perform. If she continues to compete like this, I'm sure she is going to put up some impressive numbers moving into the high school season this Winter. She just needs to stay locked in, which I'm sure she will have no problems with from what I saw this weekend on the hardwood.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["758994"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"The Nebraska Attack UA 2025 Rise team that competed this weekend at the Legacy Classic put together a really nice few days as a group. They ended up going undefeated and beating most of their opponents but a good margin of victory in each contest. Someone for this group that was a constant in every game they played with Guard, Abbi Durow. Durow is a player that you can trust in. She is someone that has a tight handle, great balance and footwork while attacking or shooting the rock, and she oozes positivity in every definition of the word. When I had a chance to sit down on Sunday morning and watch this team compete, they matched up with a skilled Missouri Phenom 2025 KC team. This team had some prospects that we are going to talk about later this week but in this game, the Attack handled their business. They were making extra passes, finding open teammates. They were knocking down buckets at a high rate and they were playing for one another. In Durow's case, she was doing a little bit of everything for her group that you could imagine. She demonstrated that she has a complete offensive game, while really getting after it on the defensive side of the ball. This isn't the last time we will hear about this Attack UA 2025 team and their prospects. They have a few that stood out to me throughout the weekend but one of the best was Durow. There is no doubt about that.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"Taylor Schepp","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"5'9u0022","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"12123","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"Chaos ","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_2_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Taylor Schepp of Chaos 2026 Basketball is someone to know moving forward. If I'm not mistaken, this is a group that came down from Canada to compete in this showcase and they demonstrated that they know how to compete against some solid competition. Their standout Point Guard comes to us in the form of Schepp. She is a prospect with a shifty handle, great decision making, and she knows how to lead a team in more ways than one. She is at her best when the ball is in her hands and she can attack off the dribble but she also demonstrated that she can produce off of the ball around the perimeter. I saw a lot of solid prospects at this event over the past couple of days and one of the smoothest was Schepp. She handled her own at an efficient rate and that didn't change depending on her competition. No matter what, any one could get it and that is something you love to see as a potential recruiter or evaluator.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["764213"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Another prospect that was competing up a grade-level and starting for her Air Minnesota 2026 team this weekend was Madalynn McLaughlin. I was told prior to watching this team compete this weekend to keep an eye on McLaughlin. That she is someone who could be u0022up nextu0022 and that information was definitely on point from everything I saw the past couple of days. McLaughlin is a smooth and crafty Point Guard, that is very good off the dribble while leading her team in a number of different ways. She stands out the most by the way she moves. She makes things seem effortless when she is dribbling the ball down the floor and she always has her head on a swivel during every point of a contest. One of her other impressive abilities is how well she can finish around the rim. It doesn't matter what side she is on or what hand she is using, if she has an open look near the hoop, you can pretty much just count the basket because it's going to be good. McLaughlin is someone out of the 2027 Class from Minnesota and I'm sure she is going to be a prospect we talk about a lot more down the line. What she displayed this weekend was impressive and I can't wait to see more going into the future.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["896426"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"I somewhat had an idea of the type of game that [player_tooltip player_id='896426' first='Paityn' last='Daedlow'] brought to the table from scouting her older brother this past year at the Varsity level. Daedlow is a smaller Guard, who is playing up a grade-level and she is showing that she can produce at that level efficiently. This past weekend at the Legacy Classic, Daedlow was flying all over the floor trying to make some things happen for her [program_tooltip program_id='712577' first='Iowa' last='Prep'] 2026 Squad. She was diving on the floor for loose balls, playing stingy defense, attacking her opponent offensively when the opportunity presented itself, and she demonstrated a solid play-making ability with the ball in her hands off of the dribble. All in all, she brings a lot to the floor the way she can handle pressure and her competition. Moving Forward, if she can lock in on the offensive side of the game and show that she can stay aggressive, she is going to be someone who puts up big numbers at Tipton High School over the next three seasons. She has a well-rounded game and she seems to have a positive attitude, no matter the situation. Those two things can take you a long way if you are put in the correct position to succeed so I can't wait to see how things play out moving into the future. As for this past weekend, she should be proud of how her and her Prep team competed. They showed that they belonged in every contest and that is not something I can say for every program I saw at this event.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-662fc9ae79a87"} /-->

The productive guard play that I saw throughout the past couple of days in noteworthy. In this article, I highlight five prospects that put together impressive weekends on the hardwood this past weekend. Each individual is someone that has a bright future in this sport if they stick with it.
