Rylee Poindexter
Rylee Poindexter
Poindexter showed up in a major way for Episcopal at State this year and the freshman gave glimpses of what might be on the horizon for the 5′ 10″ lanky guard. She showcased a strong up and under, finished somewhat comfortably amongst the trees and through traffic delivered a couple of precision passes. With O’neal weeks away from graduation, the Knights will lean into Poindexter even more next year.
Eloise Tackett
Eloise Tackett
Tackett tacked up points from distance, inside of the paint and everywhere in between. Eloise flirted with a few Lilliard like crossovers and matched it with a soft finish. Once the shot selection improves, she may be one summer away from something special. rn
Syniah Bookman Syniah Bookman 5’8″ St. Pius X | 2027 TX has good size and great hands. There were few possessions with her back-to-the basket, but Bookman was an absolute terror on the boards. An impact player, shoots the long ball well, and a rising defensive IQ. Bookman has a ton of potential.
Natlie Epstein
Natlie Epstein
6′ 2027 stands over both teams and coaches. Natalie plays with an IQ beyond her years and height. She has excellent court awareness for the young hooper and a great touch on/off the glass. There was 1-2 possesions were her put backs envied those of Audi Crooks, no pause, not bringing it down…it’s going to be exciting to see how she continues to develop.rn
Tess Stephenson
Tess Stephenson
Tess Stephenson is a heady, defensive-specialist if you will. Long and athletic guard who manages to deflect the opposition’s best pass attempts. The Stratford standout helped her team finish 3rd in district this year. If this showing is any indication of what is to come– Stephenson is definitely a player to watch.
