Tyler Collins has a state championship under her belt with Northside Christian, and her continued leadership throughout her high school season is one of the reasons why. She can handle the ball well creating her own plays, and she is definitely a knockdown shooter from beyond the arc. She’s a tenacious defender as well being able to knock the ball away from an opponent trying to get by her.
Janiya Byrd

Janiya Byrd knows how to make sure she is getting the play going whether she is shooting the ball or making the pass. She moves across the court shifting defenders to open up some space for her teammate to hit the shot, and she can pull up quickly losing her defenders for her own jumper. On defense, she does a nice job jumping the passes grabbing the petals, and she fills the lanes well on fast breaks knowing how to score off of these turnovers.
Mya Edwards

Mya Edwards is a back to back state champion with West Rowan. Her toughness on defense is fun to watch being able to block the path of her opponents, and she uses her length to block the passes from getting to the right person. She is constantly moving on the court finding the openings and shifting the defense. She’ll do the dirty work inside, too, battling against contacts and grabbing rebounds on both ends of the court.
Skyler Fleck seems to always keep her feet squared to the basket on offense, so she can catch the pass, make her adjustments with her hands, and put up her shot. She has some nice range with her shot from around the perimeter. She makes her moves to open up the court for her teammates, too, knowing how to make the right moves to hit the bounce pass finding her teammates’ hands for the bucket.
