Starting with a game Friday night and continuing through Sunday afternoon the teams played five games. It was enjoyable to watch as players showed improving play, strong effort, and plenty of stamina. Over time several players sifted to the top as standouts and many of them made various all-tournament teams. Below is the list of those who made 16U third team and honorable mention all-Battle In The Big Friendly 16U second team. It follows on the heals of the previously released 16U first team and 16U second team.
Third Team
Tre’mya Anderson, Union (OK), iD3NTITY Elite 2026, 2026 – Anderson has solid, all-around interior skills to go with a feel for the game. She had good size and decent north-south speed. Improved handles will accelerate her development.
Allyson Baustert Allyson Baustert 5'9" | C Okarche | 2026 OK , 5’10”, Okarche (OK), Team Price 2026, 2026 – Despite the team’s rough opening half there was a lot to like about the second half. Baustert and her teammates picked up the half court defense and were very deliberate about finding someone to box inside and on the perimeter when their opponent took a shot. Baustert a big part of that by being very active on the glass and just battling inside on both ends. Baustert changes ends well and I look forward to seeing more of her offensive game, including in transition, over the next couple of days.
Kylise Edgerson, CG, Captain Shreve (LA), PrimeTyme Family 2026, 2027 – Strong base with good hops. Elevates well on finishes. Sits down and shows very good footwork defending the ball. Works hard defensively. Good quickness with the ball.
Jordan McCombs, 5’6″, PG, Lakin (KS), Magic Basketball 2026, 2026 – The longer the event went on the stronger her handles became. Effective use of change of pace, whirls and crossover dribbles enabled her to beat defenders in the mid-court area. Ball-faked well and under control to set up teammates.
Abbie Myers Abbie Myers 5'10" | CG Kingfisher | 2026 State OK , 6’0″, CG, Kingfisher (OK), Team Trae Young 2026, 2026 – Wing and top of the key threes off the catch with a quick release. Quick hands. Defensive smarts. Needs to improve her consistency across the quarters.
