Continue Readingt’s that time of the year again. It’s AAU Season! This time of the year is always an interesting and excited one. It’s the time where we see new faces in new places, new groups joining together, and a whole lot of action as it pertains to high-level basketball throughout the country.
In this article we highlight a program that has recently came together the past couple of years out of Nebraska in The Nebraska Supreme . The Supreme are a tightly ran group, that play team basketball every time they take the floor. All of their rosters are built on fundamentals, positive vibes, and hard-work. When you go out to watch them compete, they embody what it means to be a program that is built the correct way from the ground up.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
Foster is a fast moving PG for this team that can get down hill in a hurry. She has been someone that has shown to be a problem for most defenses that try to stop her in the open court. She has the basketball on a string in a scene and she knows how to finish at the basket once she gets there off the dribble. She is usually someone that likes to get all the way to the rim but she can also adapt and hit a floater if there is a bigger defender stepping up in front of the basket. I’ve liked what I’ve seen out of Foster the past two years. She could continue to be a problem for opposing matchups throughout her entire high school career if she stays hungry enough.
Someone that brings the energy and a positive attitude every time they hit the floor is Haldey Walsh of Pender High School. Walsh is a guard that moves well from side-to-side while attack her opponent off of the dribble. She can pick up and finish through contact once she gets by her initial defender or she can step back and knock down an open shot from deep when the defense sags off of her. In my opinion, Walsh is a do-it-all type of player for her team. She may not put up crazy scoring stat lines but she is always going to contribute in a number of ways on both sides of the ball while she is competing within a contest. That’s something that you can’t always teach but you really appreciate as a coach.
Highlights
Madalyn Dolliver Madalyn Dolliver 5’8″ | SG Pender | 2026 NE is a knock down three point shooter off the catch and an able passer when she is standing out on the three point line. Dolliver can be moved between the 1 and the 2 spot, producing at either at a steady rate. She is someone that has shown accuracy while shooting the ball with some time from all over the three point line or she can do a great job of leading the defense with her eyes and giving a bullet pass for an easy layup at the rim for an open teammate. Defensively she is scrappy. She gets up into her opponent and makes them uncomfortable whenever the opportunity presents itself. She has started off her high school career with some great seasons to date. If she stays on this path, she is going to have a few options of where she might want to play at the end of the day but we will just have to see how that all plays out over time.

Stella Williams Stella Williams 5’9″ | SG Westview | 2026 NE is an unsung hero on this team and in the state of Nebraska as a whole after what I’ve seen her put together this past high school season. Williams is a great cutter off of the ball, she understands her spacing in both the full and half courts, she has a quick trigger from deep, and she has some length to pair with everything else to help her within her personal matchups on both ends of the floor. This past high school season she was someone that her Westview team could rely on each contest to show up and contribute some big time numbers in an effort to try to get the win. I’m expecting more of the same of all of that to finish off this season. She has started off this AAU season with a bang and I don’t see her slowing down. If she plays to her full potential, she has a high ceiling in the long run.
Bailee Durant Bailee Durant 5’10” | SF South Sioux City | 2026 NE is a prospect that makes it happen. She has always had the “it” factor to her game whenever I’ve sat down to watch compete over the past two years. Durant has better than average size, she understands the game really well, and she has skill to back everything up. She moves well off of the ball being able to knock down shots off the catch or she can take her defender off the dribble with a quick set up and go – type move. Not to mention, she is always one of the first ones on the ground or into the stands for a loose ball and that speaks to who she is as a competitor. Something you have to respect from an outside point of view.

A’yanna Hill A’yanna Hill 5’7″ | SG Omaha North | 2026 State NE is a masteo with the basketball. She controls tempo of the offense and she understands when to attack vs when she should create off the dribble for her fellow teammates. She has demonstrated on several occasions that she has the ball on a string and is very good at finishing in a plethora of different ways once she gets into the teeth of the defense. On a team with other standouting prospects, Hill is someone that can make a lot happen because the defense can’t help off of their matchups as much, giving her 1v1 situations with space. She is coming off of a high school season in which she thrived and I expect more of the same moving into the Summer.
When I saw Sierra Thomas Sierra Thomas 6’0″ | PF Omaha North | 2026 State NE moving into last season she showed a strong post game with her back to the basket. She is a relentless rebounder of the basketball whenever she is on the floor and she isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty against some bigger opponents. This season it’s been much of the same. She has been working when her situations are ideal and that has been successful for herself and her team in the long run. Her progression over the next few years will be key to if she can compete at the next level but as of right now, I would venture to say she could make it happen. She is dedicated enough and that can take you a long way in this game when you have the athletic ability that she possesses.

When McKenzie James is stepping out and shooting the basketball with full confidence, she can make some crazy things happen. I’ve seen James compete live a few times and every time she seems to add to her game in little ways. She has a crazy ability to get hot from deep behind the three point line in the blink of an eye and I truly mean deep. I’ve seen her step up and knock down consistent volleyball line three pointers because no one was guarding her and she was in rhythm. She can do a handful of other positive things for her team like Rebound and creating havoc on defense but she is clearly at her best when she is believing in herself in any facet of the game.

Avah Underwood Avah Underwood 6’0″ | SF St. Alberts | 2026 IA has an impressive mixture of size and skill on the hardwood. She is a Small Foward with long arms, balance and coordination, a soft touch on the basketball, and a physical play style when the situation calls for it. Offensively, she can screen and roll to the hoop for a finish at the rim with her size or she can step out and attack or score from the outside. Her length gives her an advantage on the defensive side of the ball as well. As long as she stays disciplined on the drive and down on pump fakes, she is sure to get a handful of tips/deflections/blocks throughout a contest. Something that could be the difference between winning or losing against a competitive opponent in a heated battle.
