Baller Alert! Cinco de Mayo

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the top early season events to attend in the DMV is [program_tooltip program_id='712942' first='Team' last='Takeover']'s Cinco de Mayo tournament. You can usually catch a few local programs of all ages before they get ramped up for their national schedules. She was knocking down three-pointers all day and I was actually surprised whenever she missed. She has a quick release, excellent footwork and doesn't need much room to get her shot off. She has great length and sees everything on the court. She's a strong rebounder and has excellent footwork around the basket. She had her shot working deep, in the mid-range and she was getting to the rim and finishing. She played good defense, using goof footwork to stay in front of people and she held up well on screens. She showed off some improved footwork while backing defenders down into her post moves. She showed good timing on the boards, chasing down her misses and creating second opportunities for her team. In the second game I watched she played more on the perimeter, handling the ball and making good reads. Every time I looked up, she was making a hustle play or locking someone up on defense. She is very impressive physically with a good mix of speed, quickness and upper body strength. She handled the ball well and made solid decisions to set up her teammates. I like the versatility she brings to the game.
