About Zoe
Expert Analysis
Tink Butler | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Zoe was a beast once she got into the lane. She had a lot on her shoulders as she ran some point guard and some center. Fouls started to mount up early as she had three in the first half to include a technical foul for taunting after a go ahead basket. The ensuing free throws surrendered the lead and could have been the margin in a regulation victory. Although there were multiple plays you can go back and point a finger at, when a game is this tightly contested you don’t want to give away any unforced points. Zoe finished with 18 points, scoring in each quarter and in overtime. There was a span where it appeared that no one on McNamara’s team could stop her, however, fouling out in overtime may have sealed their fate. (photo below)

Zoe has a relentless still of play that is unmatched by anyone in the conference. She can outwork her opponent into a double-double and get others into foul trouble with her physicalness. She is a glue player that can fit in with any team in any program. If her toughness can spread throughout the team they will be hard to contain this season.

Zoe is relentless and her efforts pay off on the stat sheet. She is an easy double-double even in a bad game. Once she starts cooking she simply can’t be stopped. She is a playmaker that is willing to get others involved after driving and she always has her eyes up and moves well without the ball.

didn’t shoot a high percentage today, and honestly, I felt she settled a little bit with some of the mid-rangers she shot. Zoe does such a good job putting the ball on the floor and getting to the rim against the bigs that match up with her. She consistently got to the line of her drives, and I loved the level of effort she showed on the offensive glass late in this game.

Zoe scored 17 points and grabbed 11 boards in the loss to Mt. Zion Prep. She attacked the basket with a lot of physicality finishing with contact. She was also able to take the rebound the length of the floor through traffic on her own to finish.

Zoe Osby dominated for Elizabeth Seton in their close win over Catholic. Zoe used her strength in the post, consistently going up strong and not shying away from contact. Her ability to put the ball on the floor was tough to guard, especially in transition. She also hit a few mid-range jumpers.

has looked great at Elizabeth Seton dating back to this past summer. Zoe has great energy and uses her size well. Zoe can hit jump shots and moves well. Zoe had a lot of nice finishes off of passes, and Shipley had a tough time dealing with her. Zoe is a complete scorer on offense and is a versatile defender.

Zoe ranking risen more than any player in the class since the inception on this classes ranking. She is a top 5 player right now with some chatter of is she high enough and she should perhaps be #1 overall. We we pay close attention in Chicago and see what happens. For now the high energy wing has moved up and locked the #5 spot in the class.

It looks like Zoe is fitting in well at her new home with the Roadrunners as she dropped a team high 17 points against her former team St. Frances. She dropped another 19 points in a double-double against S-3 Academy. Zoe’s showing that her game can fit in with pretty much any system.
