Five 2026 Players to Watch in the June Scholastic Period

With a strong senior class leaving she will be relied upon for even more. With more experience under her belt, I'll be watching to see if she can play with more ball security, play at a faster pace and keep defending at a high level. This June event will be a great opportunity for her to get off to a good start. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='433835' first='Savannah' last='Whitley'], Pallotti, Power Forward</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Savannah has looked great this summer for Boo Williams, expanding her offensive game to include some face up action and continuing to bring toughness and rebounding around the basket. She plays with a high motor and has picked up some D1 offers this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='433839' first='Kiamyani' last='Scott'], Rosedale Christian Academy, Shooting Guard</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kiki is a big-time scoring guard as averaged over 20 points per game this past season. She can score from all over the court and when she gets hot from three-point range she is hard to stop. She is a very active defender and always gets her hands on a bunch of loose balls and rebounds. She has some D1 offers in the bag already. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='847265' first='Za'hria' last='Higginbotham'], St. Mary's Ryken, Point Guard</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Za'hria had a breakout season last year. The lefty point guard showed the ablility to run an offense as a pass first point guard, but also showed she can get buckets when necessary. She is quite capable of playing both guard spots and she competes hard on defense every possession. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='433884' first='Alana' last='Joy'], CH Flowers, Wing </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Alana is a versatile wing with a high motor who anchors the Flowers defense. She can guard multiple positions due to her length, speed and quickness. She has a nice shot from the perimeter but does most of damage slashing to the basket. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
