Grace Ding
Grace is just a freshman but she knows the game very well, understanding the little things extremely well and doing those at an elite level. She plays defense with a ton of energy, providing a big spark for her team. Her length gives her an advantage on both ends of the court and she utilizes it well by deflecting passes and finishing through traffic on the offensive side of the ball. She is going to be a big time player as she continues to progress her game.

Rylee has really been impressing me this summer while hooping for Tree of Hope, being able to shoot the ball extremely well but also make big time plays with her vision on the court too. When Rylee is on the court, you can tell she cares about protecting the ball and getting the ball back for her team. The effort she puts in on the defensive side of the ball helps her get easy buckets in transition, filling the lanes nicely. Tahoma is a very talented team but I believe Rylee will play a solid role for the squad come next winter.
Rhylee is an impressive guard who handles the ball at an elite level. She controls the pace of the game well, not allowing the other team to dictate how the game goes. Her defensive game has taken a step up since the summer started. She is light on her toes, always ready to rotate well and keep offensive players in front of her with her excellent lateral movement.

Portia is one of my favorite players in the state to watch. She is so calm with the ball in her hand and is always prepared on what she’ll do next, staying ready for whatever comes her way. She is a great leader for Newport and Team Stuck, providing elite vision and defensive abilities. Another thing that stands out when you watch her is the pride she has on the defensive side of the ball. Polo moves her feet so well, always keeping ball handlers in front of her. She is an elite player who just keeps getting better and better, always working on the weak spots in her game. 4 year college coaches should have her on their radars.
