Staley was one of the best teams in the state regardless of class last season. What's even more impressive is that they will return nearly all of their production. At 27-3 they were a team who made noise playing mostly freshmen and sophomores. Moving forward, that's a recipe for success and the ability to compete for championships. Let's take a look at this roster. The team has a handful of recruitable prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='317343' first='Ava' last='Miles'] was the leading scorer as a sophomore and has been a top prospect on the recruiting trail. Schools such as Virginia Tech, Clemson, Michigan State, Cal, and Harvard have offered recently. She's a high academic prospect. During grassroots she's one of the best 26' guards on the 3SSB circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb']. Miles is a do-it-all player. She rebounds at a high clip and passes like an elite PG. A can't miss talent.

[player_tooltip player_id='803061' first='Destiny' last='Manyawu'] is a prospect who should start to earn offers in the near future. Her size, skill, and defensive ability as a 27' forward is tough to replicate. Her movement skills are excellent and she times shots well as a rim protector. An emerging offensive player who can do a lot more than what she showed for her high school last season. This freshman holds down the middle for Staley.

Looking back out on the perimeter, [player_tooltip player_id='458975' first='Londyn' last='Parker'] is another guard who makes this team go. Her defensive ability and speed is something opponents can't gameplan for. A hard-nosed player that defends the ball with a high level of focus and intensity. She's a slasher who looks to put pressure on the rim. Like other guards on this roster, a Division 1 prospect with a bright future.

Focusing back on the 2027 class, [player_tooltip player_id='803073' first='Brielle' last='Mays'] is an elite prospect in the class. She's a three level scorer who plays in attack mode. A 5'10 prospect with pace and feel. The game looks easy to her. An explosive player who can finish shots at tough angles. She finishes well at the basket. Mays is wired to score and helps this team in that department.

[player_tooltip player_id='740371' first='Miah' last='Crockett'] is another role player who will be one of a few seniors on this team. Her contribution gives this team energy and defense. Seniors are important and she's the one who should see the most playing time.
