Palmetto Stampede Plays with 6:
The Palmetto Stampede generally has a small roster. Today the Stampede defeated a scrappy South Carolina Hornets squad behind the strong play of guard Jalaiya Jacobs Jalaiya Jacobs 5'5" | CG Goose Creek | 2027 State SC and Amani McCray Amani McCray 5'7" | SF Berkeley | 2027 State SC . This duo led the charge with 14 points and 7 points respectively in the win. Jacobs was able to get the ball to the basket and times and convert some easy buckets. McCray plays a little bit everywhere on the floor for the Stampede. Armani brings good versatility with her ability to handle the rock and rebound well on both ends of the floor.
Rogers Just a Freshman:
Projection is the name of the game and at times it surely doesn’t come down to stats. Jada Rogers Jada Rogers 6'3" | C Hampton County | 2027 SC is a post presence in the paint for the South Carolina Future 16U UA Rise. Rogers already has good size for her age and the question is how will she progress in the years to come. Jada has no problems playing on contact at all down in the paint. She currently attends Hampton County HS in the Lowcountry. Rogers is playing up a age group currently this Grassroots season.
Birch and Moore Play Up:
Maliyah Birch Maliyah Birch 5'3" | PG Northwood Academy | 2027 State SC and Gabby Moore Gabby Moore 5'4" | PG First Baptist | 2027 State SC both play up on the Charleston Raptors 17U squad.
