Campbell was thrown into the fire early for her Powell team and rose to the occasion. She’s a highly skilled guard that handles pressure well, and doesn’t get rattled. She’s already a knock down shooter, and diverse scorer. She really takes pride in sitting in a stance and guarding. Another great ’27 piece in the Powell cupboard. Looking at a big AAU season for her.
Brentwood had a tremendous season this year this year, and the freshman Alayna Duhart Alayna Duhart 5’11” | C Brentwood Academy | 2027 State TN played a major role in their success. By the end of the year, you could really see the potential starting to bloom as she put some huge games together: she had a 15 point/15 rebound game followed up by a 16 point/20 rebound game. With Ella Ryan Ella Ryan 5’10” | PG Brentwood | 2025 State TN returning and having established herself as one of the best guards in the state, the emergence of Duhart makes this Brentwood that much more dangerous for next year. If these two can build some inside/out chemistry, pick and roll chemistry, etc–they will only make each other better.
While her teammate Saylor Clay Saylor Clay 5’7″ | PG Washburn | 2025 State TN grabbed most of the headlines this season, Ebany Hill Ebany Hill 5’5″ | SG Washburn | 2026 State TN quietly put together an incredibly impressive sophomore campaign. She turned herself into an ELITE shooter, as her and Clay turned into the “Splash Sisters” from three. She averaged 16 points on 2.7 made threes per game on 37% shooting. Her potential is much high though as she’s also learning how to attack the rim with purpose, and she’s always been a plus defender.

White is another young guard that worked her way into the Powell rotation. She’s still learning how to be consistent with her skill set, but she certainly has the potential to be a high level 2 way player. Offensively, she’s deadly from three, and has a reputation for being a lights out shooter once her feet are set. Big summer for her as Powell will need her to step up next season–and she has all the tools to jump out onto the scene.

Gentry is another 2027 that worked her way into the Powell rotation. She’s a diverse player that has learned how to use her length and body control to play either inside or out. She’s comfortable playing in multiple spots, and has a smooth jumper. High upside kid. Great potential as a high level defender.
Maybe the most underrated ’27 in the state. This summer will say a lot about her as she gets to play with better players which should allow her to focus on what she’s best at. For Sweetwater, the freshman did EVERTHING. Every team’s scouting report revolved around stopping her, and she still averaged 17 points and 12.5 rebounds. She also shot the 2nd most free throws by a freshman (according to Max Preps) right in between #1 Addie Wilhoit Addie Wilhoit 5’8″ | SG Tennessee | 2027 State TN and #3 Lauren Hassell Lauren Hassell 6’3″ | PF Clarksville Christian | 2027 State TN (not bad company). Really looking forward to watching her with Trotters ’27 Armes.
