<p>With Summer High School ball on the horizon, we start our summer preview with a look at some of the top 2025s on the First Coast. In 2023, the top player on the First Coast was Taliah Scott. In 2024, [player_tooltip player_id='248345' first='Clare' last='Coyle'] walked away with the GOAT title. So, the million dollar question is who will be the GOAT in the 2025 class on the First Coast? In this article we look at some of the candidates. <br></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='346820' first='Abby' last='Knauff'] it's probably the name that comes to mine first as the most talented basketball player on the first coast. Knauff definitely started out faster than anyone on this list if you recall. She was a candidate for player of the year as a freshman. Knauff is athletic and has a scorer's mentality and the game to back it up. She is a sniper from behind the theee point line and her catch and shoot is as good as it gets.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='346853' first='Janai' last='Jordan'] can shoot the three, shoot the midrange, get into the paint, and can handle the rock. Her feel for the game is as good as it gets. Jordan and company made it all the way to the State playoffs last season and look for an exciting encore next season. Jordan has a high basketball IQ and all of the tools. She has positioned herself quite well in the Goat conversation. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='430261' first='Janie' last='Boyd'] is another player who has the confidence and the moxy, and is a flat out baller. Boyd is a leader on the floor and has a lot of tools in her bag. She is deadly from behind the arc, and is also a smart player who plays chess when on the court. She drives to the basket and usually gets to the free-throw line as a result. Boyd will foul a player out of the game if given the chance and shoot 10 freethrows as a result. Boyd handles the ball and communicates well on the floor. She has been impressive on the defensive end during the Spring travel season. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='370059' first='Nacoya' last='Blocton'] is the probably the best stretch four on the First Coast and is definitely in the 2025 Goat Conversation. In addition to shooting the ball at all levels, she is one of the best scorers in the area. Blocton can handle the ball like a guard and is dangerous when leading the fast break. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='221646' first='Terrannya' last='Medlock'] is definitely in the conversation for the goat on the first ghost. Medlock can drive the ball to the goal, she has a nice pull up jumper, and can shoot the ball from the three-point line as well. Medlock plays great defense, defending in the paint and also on the wings. She has great length and can block and changes her share of shots as a result. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='346822' first='Lamiyah' last='Hogans'] is probably one of the most aggressive scorers on the First Coast and has a versatile offensive game. Hogans has a smooth pull-up game as well as a stop and pop on the three point shot. Hogans can also get to the rim and finish with the left or the right. She also does a good job of using the glass in the midrange area.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='430248' first='Destiny' last='Donaldson'] is the most energetic player on this list and the best offensive rebounder as well. Donaldson can shoot the three, but usually drives the ball to score. She scores a lot of her shots on offensive rebounds and shots in the paint. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='430455' first='Kimora' last='Hester'] is the most athletic person on this list and can shoot the ball from all levels and has the sweetest pull up around. There is no chance of blocking her shot as she gets great elevation when shooting her jumper. Hester is very good at getting into the paint and shooting her midrange shot. Her athleticism jumps off the page when she is shooting and scoring in the paint. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='248553' first='Kendall' last='Kane'] is another player who's been around and made great contributions as early as her freshman season. She basically ran the point guard position as a Freshman and also was one of the top shooters on the team. Going into her Senior season, Kane has added the attack of the rim to her repertoire. As stated, Kane handle the ball well enough to run the point and play the two, three, or four on the court. Her versatility is her calling card and the reason she is in the 2025 GOAT discussion. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='900338' first='Bailey' last='Harris'] is another versatile player on the list. She can shoot the jumper, She can drive the ball to the rim with a nice floater, and has a nice mid game as well. Harris also does a good job of handling the ball at the point position. She can play several positions on the floor and can score in a variety of ways. She can play the one, the two or the three and play each effectively. </p>

When she gets the three ball going she can shoot it with the best of them. Brown is another player who plays with a lot of confidence and moxy. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='400774' first='Jadynn' last='Spivey'] is one of the best shooting guards on the first coast. Spivey can score with the best of anyone in this class and has one of the greatest motors of anyone on this list. Spivey is also an high IQ player who has great instincts on the floor. She is a three level scorer who shoots the three well and can get to the rim and make shots that are very difficult.</p>
