Many programs have gotten a jump on post-high school season ball, [program_tooltip program_id='715643' first='Kansas' last='Elite'] being one of them. Coached by John Halliday, [program_tooltip program_id='715643' first='Kansas' last='Elite'] 15U has put together a roster drawing upon young talent from both sides of the river. The team will be playing this weekend at the KC Clash, a Prep Girls Hoops Dynasty Circuit stop.

[player_tooltip player_id='910380' first='Taylor' last='Forgy'], 5'9", G, Blue Valley High School (KS), 2028 - Forgy is an incoming freshman I look forward to seeing what type of impact she will have on Vikings roster next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='836278' first='Alexa' last='Splechter'], 5'4", PG, Burlington High School (KS), 2027 - 2024 SIK 3A HM. 2024 Pioneer League 2nd team. Very good ball handler. Perimeter shooter with good bounce on her shot and overall athleticism. Shoots passing lanes well to go the distance. Mom recommendation

[player_tooltip player_id='910377' first='Macy' last='Schroering'], 5'9", Blue Valley North (KS), 2027 - Schroering is a recent USJN Great Plains Spring Showcase All-Star selection. I look forward to seeing her play for the first time. With the log jam at the top of Mustangs roster caused by a talented '25 class I will be curious if she will be one to emerge not that a couple '24s have graduated.

[player_tooltip player_id='910382' first='Josie' last='Pickens'], 5'6", Staley High (MO), 2027 - Pickens is player I look forward to seeing for the first time at the KC Clash.

[player_tooltip player_id='862885' first='Lydia' last='Bonderer'], 5'10", SF, Chillicothe (MO), 2027 - @lydiabonderer Bonderer was a contributor off the bench for a 29-2 Hornets team that claimed third place in the Class 4 state tournament. She averaged 1.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and half an assist. The lengthy forward has terrific timely on shot blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='910381' first='Kennedy' last='Drew'], 5'4", Louisburg (KS), 2028 - Drew is an incoming freshman that I look forward to seeing that will be added to my unofficial watch list.

[player_tooltip player_id='746588' first='Rikai' last='Cook'], 5'7", SG, Shawnee Mission Northwest (KS), 2027 - Strong and solidly built Cook has a good feel for the floor, spacing, and where her teammates are. She shoots the three ball fluidly with little wasted movement from everywhere and is a good down-the-floor passer. Watch her to rip a couple balls away from opponents defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='910379' first='Lexy' last='Smith'], 5'7”, Chillicothe (MO), 2028 - Smith is another young talent I am looking forward to watch at the KC Clash this weekend.
