The Prep Girls Hoops circuit is winding down, and beginning tomorrow, the Victory Region Finals come to Central Indiana. With games in Noblesville and at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, there should be some good all-around action to attend. Below is a look at the Indiana teams who are participating in the 17U & 16U divisions at the finals, along with a couple of players to keep an eye on for each team.

17U DIVISION:

There are 20 total teams registered for the 17U Division this weekend, but only three are from Indiana. Indiana Showcase Black comes in with a solid collection of guards and wings. So far this Spring, I have been most impressed with the play of 5-8 wing [player_tooltip player_id='570387' first='Leonie' last='Boyer'] (2025) of Rushville and 5-9 guard [player_tooltip player_id='883199' first='Emma' last='Micks'] (2025) of Beech Grove. Boyer is a high IQ, hard-working wing with good all-around perimeter skill, while Micks is a nice athlete who plays hard and competes each possession.

The [program_tooltip program_id='715841' first='Indiana' last='Sirens']-Pruitt team is the second entry of note, and they start with 6-1 post [player_tooltip player_id='453219' first='Randee' last='Garringer'] (2025) of Mooresville. She is a strong, athletic, high-motor defender and rebounder around the paint. 5-8 forward Bri Gray (2025) of Noblesville is a versatile and strong inside-out prospect who can help Garringer attack the boards. 5-11 forward Anna Karr (2026) is a long, fluid athlete who can help in the mid-range game, on the boards, and defensively.

Also keep an eye on the (Northwest Indiana) [program_tooltip program_id='715993' first='NWI' last='Select'] team. They bring with them one of the state's better thieves from this past season, as 5-6 guard [player_tooltip player_id='906063' first='Kahlen' last='Robinson'] (2025) of Gary Bowman has actually ranked high among steals leaders each of the last two seasons. She is a nice athlete who can also score it from all over. Also monitor 5-7 guard [player_tooltip player_id='882827' first='Briana' last='Esquivel'] (2025) of Griffith. She comes from a line of Esquivel girls who have made their mark on Griffith basketball, and Briana is a capable perimeter shooter.

16U DIVISION:

The 16U Division consists of just 14 teams, with four being from The Hoosier State. Look for one or two of them to make a deep run in the bracket on Sunday. The Lady Gym Rats E40 team is definitely a fun watch. 5-6 guard [player_tooltip player_id='567132' first='Denell' last='Jacobs'] (2026) of Warren Central is already a star for the Warriors, and she's quickly earning that reputation on a statewide level, as she can shoot/score it at a high level or run offense. She'll get help from 5-8 wing [player_tooltip player_id='772792' first='Aubri' last='Ingram'] (2026) of Ben Davis. Ingram is a long and athletic slasher, she can knock down shots at all levels, and she can find open teammates consistently. Also keep an eye on 6-2 post [player_tooltip player_id='917008' first='Raven' last='Walls'] (2026) of North Central for the Gym Rats. She has a nice ceiling and could be one of the more intriguing posts at the event.

Indiana Showcase fields two teams in the division, Black & Red. The Black group gets nice point guard play from 5-4 [player_tooltip player_id='832666' first='Makaylee' last='Butts'] (2026) of Avon and 5-6 [player_tooltip player_id='884487' first='Aniyah' last='Anthony'] (2026) of Tri-West. Both are nice athletes and use that athleticism to make plays for themselves and others. 6-0 forward [player_tooltip player_id='761158' first='Haileigh' last='Allen'] (2026) of Randolph Southern is a strong and skillful forward who gives them a nice presence inside. while 6-1 forward [player_tooltip player_id='486530' first='Alyx' last='Kendall'] (2026) of Bishop Chatard has a really nice inside-out skillful versatility. The Showcase Red group has an athletic point guard of their own in 5-4 [player_tooltip player_id='885310' first='Aubrey' last='Hall'] (2026) from Perry Meridian, while 5-8 wing [player_tooltip player_id='730754' first='Casey' last='Schuessler'] (2026) of Lafayette Central Catholic brings a winning pedigree to the team and can help with her versatility.

That just leaves the [program_tooltip program_id='899023' first='Indy' last='Belles'], and they are a hard-working group of Indianapolis ladies who just get after it. The Belles had the services of 5-4 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='751072' first='Jada' last='Frieson'] (2027) of Warren Central last weekend, and she's with them again this weekend, watch out! She is an explosive, tough-nosed playmaker who would be one of the better 2027 guards at the event. 5-6 guard [player_tooltip player_id='832688' first='KaMariona' last='Garrett'] (2026) of Indianapolis Shortridge is a scoring threat and had a nice Winter, while 5-4 guard Janyiah Rogers (2027) flashed talent at our Freshman Showcase and did the same for the Purdue Polytechnic team this past season.
