Denell Jacobs Denell Jacobs 5'6" | CG Warren Central | 2026 State IN has been a valuable piece for Warren Central over the past couple of seasons. She does an excellent job of using her size and physicality to get to the rim, and she showcased that ability early against North Central. In the first half, Denell consistently attacked the paint, finishing through contact and putting pressure on the defense.
Her aggressiveness set the tone for Warren Central offensively and helped the Warriors establish control of the game. When Denell is able to play downhill and impose her strength, it opens up opportunities for her teammates and makes Warren Central difficult to guard, especially heading into sectional play.

Denell Jacobs Denell Jacobs 5'6" | CG Warren Central | 2026 State IN was the clear standout for the Warriors last season, establishing herself as the team’s most consistent playmaker and scoring option. Offensively, she thrives at attacking the basket, using a lightning-quick first step to create separation and finish at the rim. Statistically, Jacobs returns as the Warriors’ top scorer after averaging 15.7 points per game, and she is poised to build on that production. Entering this season, she will be expected to not only carry a scoring load but also provide leadership as the Warriors look to take another step forward. With her quickness, attacking mindset, and ability to produce in key moments, Jacobs has the tools to guide her team to another successful season and push for a deeper run in the state tournament.

Denell has been a top player and scorer for the Lady Warriors of Warren Central during each of her three seasons. She has really nice length at her height, speed & quickness, plus she has gotten progressively stronger. She has nice touch around the perimeter, she’s a good odd-angle finisher around the basket, and she possesses a smooth mid-range pull-up. When she is consistently engaged, she can be one of the state’s best multilevel scorers.

Denell is a really nice talent who I hope college coaches get out to see. She has great length, an athletic frame, and she plays with a lot of athleticism in all directions. She can really score the ball at all three levels, she has touch outside as well, but she can run/create offense for others and really cause problems if defenses pay too much attention to her. She has risen quickly up our rankings, but I think she’s still a little under-recruited.
