<p>The FABC Showcase is set for next week and some of the top scorers from last season will be in the building. In this artice we look at some of the top scorers in the State and give insiight into what makes them good hish school players and elite scorers. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='861097' first='Serenity' last='Hardy'] (2026) averaged 21.7 points per games per season, includng a lights-out performance in the State semifinals game where she scored 26 points. Hardy can handle the rock, create off the dribble, catch and shoot, and just outright ball. She has a scorers mentality, but can pass the ball and makes good decisions on the court. Harden was the second leading scorer among prospects in the 2026 class.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='638578' first='Saige' last='McCloud'] (2025) averaged 21.1 points per game and is defintely a versatile player who can score in a variety of ways. She scores primarily in the paint and in the short midrange area. McCloud also has physicality to her game and can finish through contact.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='664264' first='Zion' last='McRae'] (2025) averaged 23.1 points per game from the point guard and shooting guard position last high school season. The versatile guard can score with the best of them, but she can also lead a team from the point guard position. McRae is a versatile player who can score, defend, and pass the ball. She is very aggressive on the defensive end and has great quickness and lateral movement to keep opponents in front of her. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='470458' first='Dakara' last='Merthie'] (2026) of Lake Mary averaged 20.8 points per game, including 36 threes as a Sophomore. The young shooter also knocked down 38 three pointers as a Freshman. Merthie will be in the house and we are looking forward to seeing her compete against some of the best guards in the State.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='442278' first='Noelle' last='Mengel'] averaged 20.6 points per game and will be one of the top scorers in the building. She was a standout last season and also in the State Semifinals, where she led a second half comeback to punch a ticket to the State Championship Game. Mengel is an offensive machine with the ability to shoot the three and get to the rim with crafty finishes.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='751628' first='Chamiah' last='Francis'] (2026) was one of the top 50 scorers in the State, averaging 19.6 points per game. Francis also posted 19 double doubles and recorded 12.1 rebounds per game. All of these statistics convey the following: Francis is one of the top players in the State and will be one of the top players at the FABC Showcase.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='468627' first='Jasleen' last='Green'] (2026) poured in 17.2 points per game and had a stellar season and an MVP performance in the State Championship the last time she had on her High School jersey. Green is a three level scorer and that level where she gets to the rim is potent and impressive. Green has the ability to go left or right, maneuver in the paint and score the ball. She is one the top recruits in the State and can score with the best of the recruits in the 2026 class. </p>
