The team will participate next at the VEA Junior Nationals in Bowling Green later this month prior to the PUMA NXT Finals in Pennsylvania in early July.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Then – the much-ballyhooed Run For the Roses in Louisville in mid-July. Miller is one of the leaders on the team in field goal percentage as she has gone 77 percent from the field. In addition, she is averaging nearly seven points per club contest – 6.75 to be exact. A huge reason why Miller is having so much success is because of what she is getting accomplished from behind the 3-point line. The rising Panthers freshman is one of the team's leading scorers at 10.3 points per game – and leads the team in field goal percentage at over 55 percent from the field. She also greatly bolsters the rebounding efforts of [program_tooltip program_id='716239' first='Lady' last='Vision'] Elite 2028 as she has brought down 6.1 rebounds per contest. Headspeth is a problem for opponents both offensively and defensively. Barber, similar to her travel teammate Headspeth, is also averaging 6.1 rebounds per matchup in addition to collecting 2.14 steals per game. Also in similar fashion as Headspeth, Barber is also one of the team's leaders from the field as she has gone 48 percent from the field. Good teams need good passer and Barber knows how to find open teammates. Fortner averaged 9.9 points per game during the 2023-24 high school season with the Dragons and she has followed that up by averaging 9.1 points per game with [program_tooltip program_id='716239' first='Lady' last='Vision'] Elite 2028. In addition, she collects a fair amount of steals – over two per matchup this AAU season. Similar to Barber and Fortner, Newby is another one of the team's leading in terms of field goal shooting percentage. The Golden Eagles finished the season with a record of 29-3. Defensively, she has caused 3.1 deflections a game in addition to 2.81 steals. She knows how to get the job done on the offensive end of the floor as well. She is averaging 7.7 points and 3.6 assists throughout this grassroots season. A good number of her points come from behind the arc as she is shooting 30 percent from downtown and has an overall field goal percentage of 43.5. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
