Urbana Shootout- Friday standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It was a great weekend at the Urbana Shootout, a summer event that brought together over 20 high school teams. Victoria does a great job being able to take the ball baseline and can finish with the strong move at the rim. Able to score in all three phases, can control the boards and able to defend both on the perimeter or in the paint. Athletic and agile, she has a good motor and can create spots for her team. Disrupts things in the paint with her length and her physical play. Her game has improved since I last saw her play during the previous high school season. She created fits for her opponents in the games I saw. She is so underrated by most people in the game, but her court awareness and ability to force mistakes cannot be measured by numbers. Pure shooter, one of the best in the building. Can also put the ball on the floor and get downhill, athletic which allows her to beat her defender to the rim. She has a high motor and plays with a lot of energy!! She showed good footwork in the paint, handles the ball well and able to run the point if needed. Really love the way she handles the rock.  Knocked down a big three. Sees the floor very well! Love her court vision and runs the floor well.  She makes good decisions with the ball and is able to distribute for the easy shot. Part of a solid backcourt with Spencerville.
