[player_tooltip player_id='252865' first='Maya' last='McCorkle'] helped lead her team all the way to being the state champion this season, and I don't think she plans on slowing down any time soon. She can do it all on the court handling the ball and controlling the tempo to getting inside scoring her points against post players. She sees the floor well knowing how to get the ball to the open teammate. Her defense is fun to watch as she has a range of who she can guard, and she always keeps her head on a swivel being able to grab the steal.

[player_tooltip player_id='564664' first='Braelyn' last='Stilwell'] is a big reason why East Burke was in the state championship this season. Her ball handling is exceptional knowing how to use her handles and speed to get a play going. She has some nice change of direction moves to create her own space, and she can knock down a shot from anywhere off these moves. Her leadership also sets her apart as she is a player who will leave it all out on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='302224' first='Sophia' last='Zoerb'] has already found a home after high school, but she isn't finished playing hard in her high school career. Her knockdown shooting around the perimeter is definitely an asset for her team as she finds the openings and makes it off the pass. She does a nice job filling in the open lanes in transition getting to the basket or setting herself up for a jumper that she can knock down easily even with hands in her face. Her length is certainly going to lead to deflections on defense disrupting her opponents' offensive sets.

[player_tooltip player_id='499721' first='Maggie' last='Kernodle'] is another player who does a little bit of everything for her team, and that was a big reason her Charlotte Catholic team made it all the way to the state championship. She does a nice job setting herself up around the perimeter for the shot making it off the pass, and she finds ways to attack the gaps making the defense shift to get the opening for herself or her teammates. On defense, she does a nice job anticipating passes jumping in front of them to grab the steal.

[player_tooltip player_id='762000' first='Ellie' last='Fyans'] is another player who helped her team reach the state championship. She uses her height well in the paint being able to block shots easily. She does a nice job sliding into the help position making sure the basket is protected, and she grabs rebounds on both ends of the court making sure to score off of offensive rebounds. She follows the ball sliding in front of her defenders lookin for the pass in the paint.
