In this 2025 Player Rankings Update, we have some ballers. In this specific article we highlight the prospects that were placed in the 11-15 spots in this Update. Each player listed was a big time producer for their Varsity squad last season and I can't wait to see how they build on that moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='655088' first='Ayana' last='Owens'] of Lincoln High is going to have her best year of basketball to date this next twelve months on the hardwood. Owens is a 5'9 Combo Guard, with seemingly longer arms and a ton of athletic ability to pair along with it. Owens competes with Nebraska Hoops [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] on the AAU scene and she has put together a respectable season up until this point. Moving into the month of July, Owens will have more of a chance to show what she can do for collegiate recruiters live and in person one more time before her Senior season of high school ball. If she can continue to show that she is a solid teammate, while producing here and there. She should have a few more recruiters reach out moving into the Fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='276522' first='Jayla' last='Wilson'] of Bellevue East has been a solid PG comping down the floor for a few years now. Wilson is a shifty and smart guard, that understands spacing and what is happening around her at all times. She competes with a [program_tooltip program_id='712924' first='Team' last='Factory'] team that has a bunch of studs and she does a solid job of standing out each contest with her fast handling ability down the court. This next season is going to be a big one for Bellueve East and Wilson. They should have a chance to win a good amount of games as they return a bunch of upperclassman from a year ago. If they have the right guidance, they should look better than ever.

[player_tooltip player_id='305774' first='Ayla' last='Roth'] is someone that has put up impressive numbers out of the 2025 Class the past few years at the high school Varsity level. Roth is a better than average sized Combo Guard with a three level scoring ability while being her Milford team's heart and soul. She will lace up for one more season with this group before taking her talents to the next level in some form. I'm not too sure where she is getting looks from but she has put up too good of numbers in years past to not get a shot at a roster spot somewhere. She can hoop and she is going to show that on full display this next eight months, no matter who she is competing with or against.

[player_tooltip player_id='305777' first='Elsa' last='Vedral'] has a lot more promise than most people might anticipate and I expect her to show that off moving forward. Vedral competes with Marian High School out of the Omaha area for the high school season and [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] during the travel months of AAU ball. The past year that I have watched her compete, she has slowly added onto her game in a little ways, while being a selfless teammate. To play and produce without the ball or in a short amount of time is a big factor that collegiate recruiters look at. There is only one player on the court at one time that can have the ball in their possession so to be able to do this and move around, staying on the floor because you can produce like this is important and it's something that Vedral has done at a high rate this past year. She might not kill you and average 25 PPG but she is going to show up in the stat book in a positive way and she won't hurt you. Two things that could help a lot of college programs out there if you ask me and thats why she moves up to #14 in this Update.

The mixture of size, skill, and knowledge of the position that [player_tooltip player_id='316452' first='Kena' last='Ailes'] competes with is something that collegiate recruiters need to keep an eye on moving into this 2024-2025 high school season. Ailes is 6'0, she is someone that rebounds the ball with authority on both ends, she can score on either side of the hoop with either hand, and she can knock down standstill jumpers from almost anywhere on the floor. This past year, Ailes has shown that she has a ton of ability and upside in this sport. She grabbed a good amount of double-doubles last year as a whole and she always produced in one way or another whenever she took the floor. I'm not sure if she is competing this AAU season or not but this is someone that is very underrated for this 2025 Class throughout Nebraska. She could be a real steal for someone out there if given a shot. She just needs a chance.
