You may not have heard of [player_tooltip player_id='656438' first='Karrington' last='Asp'] too much this AAU season because she is competing out of Minnesota with the Fury's UAA team but trust me, she has been playing some of her best basketball to date. Asp is a 6'2 Forward, who is going to be a lot to handle at the next level when she suits up with the Bison. Asp is someone that is fantastic with her ability to score near the basket, while being a very good rebounder as you might assume. She is someone that understands where a missed shot is going to come off the rim, giving her an advantage while working in the paint. The Minnesota Fury are a program that have a ton of ballers and Asp has been one of their most productive this season. For the month of July, they will look to build on the foundation they set this past Spring season, hoping to make a run during their Circuit championship to end the year.

Sometimes when an athlete gets injured with their legs, they come back with a noticeable limp or hook to their step but I'm glad to report that [player_tooltip player_id='311376' first='Savannah' last='Gage'] is competing without a brace and looking stronger than ever. Gage is a committed prospect to St. Thomas once her career comes to an end after this next high school season. Gage committed prior to her injury so the Tommies are happy that she is looking and playing healthy basketball in any capacity right now. This next season, her Ankeny High School team will have a chance to make a statement throughout their Winter season. If Gage plays to her strengths and their other D1 prospect makes waves, they will be a tough group to beat in highly anticipated games. They just have to keep their eyes on the prize and they will be fine.

[player_tooltip player_id='311390' first='Mia' last='Kautman'] of Gilbert High School committed to Wartburg college at the end of her season earlier this calendar year to compete at the next level and I think she is going to be really good. In a Class that is stacked with PG's, to standout or make the Top 75 at all is noteworthy and Kautman comes into this Update at #65. This is going to be a quick moving prospect for Wartburg, that could turn into a household name before you know it. She is someone that always seems to show up in a positive way on the stat sheet, while being someone that is hard to take off of the court from a coaching perspective because of her sound defense and high end communication skills with her teammates. I'm not sure if it'll be the same at the next level but I wouldn't think otherwise at this point in time. Everything she does on the high school floor, translates so now she just has to go out and make the rest happen.

[player_tooltip player_id='617226' first='Quinn' last='Vice'] of Pleasant Valley High School is going to play a vital role in her team's success this Winter. Vice is a Drake commit and a taller prospect than most. She stands right around 6'2-6'3 with the ability to spread the floor and knock down jumpers at a high rate. When I saw Vice compete this Spring, my only "knock" on her game was that she wasn't catching near the post as much as I would have liked. With her natural size, she needs to recognize the mismatches given to her and she needs to to advantage of those. Especially the simple ones that could be right by the bucket. If she can continue to expand her game and work on playing with a little bit more of an edge moving forward, she should have a rememberable Winter this upcoming season, moving into her collegiate career with the Bulldogs.

As of most recent, [player_tooltip player_id='311369' first='Greta' last='Dillinger'] committed to D2 Auggie after just a few days from visiting and receiving a scholarship offer. That's when you know there was a connection between the two parties almost right away. Dillinger is a knockdown shooter right now, that will be used in the same way at the next level. Within an impressive D2 program like Augustana, it can be hard to see the floor but if Dillinger is used in the correct ways off of the ball, she could be their flame thrower from deep over the next few years. It's been fun to see Dillinger grow over her high school career. She was someone that has always been a good shooter, she just needs to continue to work on her overall game, while knocking down shots at a high rate and the rest will be history before you know it.
