2025 Player Rankings Update: Uncommitted Combo Guard Prospects

While there are several prospects out of the 2025 Class that are college committed, there are more that are uncommitted at this point. In this piece, we cover five individuals out of this Class at the Combo Guard position, that could possibly compete at the next level given the right opportunity.   Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!    One of the more underrated prospects out of the 2025 Class in Iowa is CG, [player_tooltip player_id='671464' first='Katelyn' last='Aden'] of Carroll High School. Carroll High School is going to return a few prospects this upcoming season with some real size and potential. Aden will compete on and off the ball for her team with her ability switch up whatever she is doing on the floor in the blink of an eye if need be. In this Update, Aden lands at #37 moving into the Fall. If she has a great July with her Play4Him AAU program, she could move up come the Winter Update before you know it.     [player_tooltip player_id='671472' first='Layla' last='Trytten'] of Dowling Catholic High School is one of those players that if she competed on any other high school team, she would be a bonified star with her impact on both ends of the floor. Trytten is smooth as they come, calm in all of her movements, and she is someone that see's the ball go in the hoop a lot whenever she is letting it go from around the offensive side of the floor. With her [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] team this AAU season, Trytten has been fantastic in every aspect of the game you can think of for the guard position. She will have a chance to make a difference in the DC lineup this next Winter but it's going to be tough with the 6-7 man lineup they will be competing with.     As of most recent, [player_tooltip player_id='671474' first='Maddy' last='Stutler'] of Urbandale High School received an offer to compete at the D3 level following this next season. Stutler is a CG with size, physical play style, soft touch near the rim, a decently high motor, and coordination within her team's sets. I anticipate by the time that Stutler gets to the end of her high school Varsity basketball season, she should have a few options to continue on her basketball journey. She just needs to continue to work on her weaknesses and she will continue to get better.     [player_tooltip player_id='525596' first='Rysaiah' last='Sitzmann'] of Gehlen Catholic and Iowa Swarm AAU Basketball is someone that slides into our Top 100 Rankings for the first time out of this 2025 Class because of her side-to-side quickness and versatility. To be a great Combo Guard, you need to be versatile with better than average size ideally so that you can switch everything on defense and that's what Sitzman is. For Gehlen Catholic, she should lead her team once again this upcoming season. She should come back playing the best basketball of her career and I can't wait to see what that turns into this next eight months.     I have briefly talked about Sioux City West a few times during this Update because they have a handful of 2025 prospects that are skilled in their own rights on the court. Another one of the prospects is 5'7 Combo Guard, Hannah Burger. Burger is someone that can play the 1 or the 2 spot. She can run the PG and control then offense or she can move over and produce off of the ball while having the ball in small increments. This past Varsity season, Burge was a main producer for her group and that should be the same this upcoming 2024-2025 season. She just needs to play her game and she will continue to see good things happen.
