In this 2026 Player Rankings Update, we have some ballers. In this specific article we highlight the prospects that were placed in the 6-10 spots in this Update. Each player listed was a big time producer for their Varsity squad last season and I can't wait to see how they build on that moving forward.

One of the best ball handling guards out of the state of Nebraska comes to us in the form of [player_tooltip player_id='502327' first='A'yanna' last='Hill'] of Omaha North High School. Hill is a shifty and creative prospect, that is a handful to guard in 1v1 situations. She is very good at creating something out of nothing more times than not and she is lethal in transition while coming down the floor. The past two years of Varsity high school ball, she has been a producer in every way imaginable. She can get buckets from all three offensive levels, she can create and facilitate around her, and she gets a lot of steals throughout the duration of a contest because of her mixture of quick hands and fast feet. Coming into this Update, Hill takes over the #6 spot in this 2026 Class moving into the month of July. If she continues to play her game and she is put in situations to be successful strategy wise, she is going to continue to shine as she moves into her Junior season of high school ball.

When you watch [player_tooltip player_id='757592' first='Sanai' last='Foster'] compete on the hardwood for multiple contests, you start to realize what her ceiling could be at the end of the day. Foster is a prospect with better than average size at 6'2 and an impressive shooting ability for that size. Don't get me wrong. She is very good at using her size and length to her advantage a majority of the time but when you see that she also has a picture perfect shooting stroke, you realize what she could become by the end of her career. If she continues to work hard and she continues to expand her game, she is going to get a shot to compete at the next level at the end of the day. Right now, she is playing with the ETG Midwest [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] 3SSB program out of Omaha and it's been helping her in every way. Recruiting and expanding her play-style. If she continues to run with this group and she takes what the defense is giving her, she is going to continue to see a lot of success moving into the future.

When I first had the chance to see [player_tooltip player_id='757583' first='Mylee' last='Tichota'] compete at our Top 250 Showcase prior to her Sophomore year with Yutan High School, she impressed with her versatility. Anything that her team needed, she was there to help with and she not only showed this ability at the showcase but also during her Sophomore year with Yutan. Tichota can produce on or off of the ball, she is crafty with her play making ability as she attacks, she can defend prospects at her size or even a little bigger, and she communicates at a high rate with those around her. When you combined all of this together, you start to see the promise and potential. Looking toward the future, Tichota is going to continue to be a main producer for her Yutan team over the next two years as they try to duplicate their season from a year ago. If she plays to her full potential, she should see even better result and that says something because she put together one of the best seasons as a whole last year out of any prospect in Nebraska, no matter Class level or age.

[player_tooltip player_id='757579' first='Emerson' last='Timm'] is one of the premier Point Guards out of the 2026 Class in Nebraska and she has been demonstrating to everyone watching as to why this AAU season. Timm has been a leader throughout Nebraska in the categories of PPG and APG the past couple of years while competing with her Arlington High School team and it has been much of the same this AAU season with her ETG Midwest [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] 3SSB team. Timm leads by example and competes with a chip on her shoulder. She is someone that understands situational basketball while being able to control tempo, pace of play, and what everyone else around her is doing at any given moment. When you have a real game changer and game leader, you know it almost right from the start of their career and Timm has been that way. She is a difference maker in every aspect of a contest when she is playing with confidence and that's a big reason as to why she lands in our Top 10 of this Class at #9 moving into July.

[player_tooltip player_id='758889' first='Macey' last='Kuchta'] of Millard South rounds out our Top 10 in this July Update because of her ability to score and defend the basketball from the Wing position. To be able to score and defend the basketball is something that several prospects can do but Kuchta has proven over time that she is one of the most consistent and efficient while doing it throughout the entire duration of a contest. This AAU season with her [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] program, she has been efficient and a difference maker almost every time she takes the court. Moving into the month of July, she will look to do more of the same as she will compete in one more live period before this 2024 AAU season comes to a close. As long as she continues to stay dedicated and works hard on every single possession, she should continue to see success as her basketball career continues to move forward.
