This weekend I'll be in Chicago to cover one of the biggest and best AAU events of the year in Nike TOC, EYBL Nike Nationals, & USJN's event. At these events I'll have a chance to see hundreds of kids over the four days and I can't wait. In this piece, we talk about five prospects from all over the country that I'll be taking a look at throughout my days. Each individual checks off a lot of boxes on film so now it's time to see what they can do first hand.

[program_tooltip program_id='715980' first='Team' last='Iowa'] 2026 BlueStar is one that has put together impressive weekends all season long on the road. Each weekend they usually end better than .500 and they seem to have all individually gotten better with the time they have spent on the court together. One of their Forward prospects, that helps control near the basket on both sides of the ball is 6'0, [player_tooltip player_id='595155' first='Hailey' last='Kipp']. Kipp is a really solid piece to have apart of your team with her ability to eat up space and hold down what is happening near the rim. This will be the first time I've had a chance to see this group live this AAU season and I'm excited to see who shows out.

One of the best parts of this weekend is that there are several teams and prospects from other countries here competing. Someone coming from Sweden, who I'm excited to see is Maira Jochumsen and her Ik Eos Sweden team. Jochumsen is a 5'6 PG, that has a solid handle, a patented floated finish at the rim, and a solid passing ability. She might not be the fastest but she is pretty smooth in most of the action I've seen out of her and I can't wait to see that translate to the court this weekend.

Mariah Bailey of Oregon Elite is someone that recruits should already know going into this weekend out of Oregon. Bailey is a strong Combo Guard, that excels in the categories to rebounding, scoring near the basket, and dominating her individual matchup. She seems to always be in the right place at the right time with her positioning near the hoop and that helps her grab a lot of those boards on either side of the basket. Her Oregon Elite team has a mix of a little bit of everything. They have height down low, shifty and controlling PG's, and some formidable prospects at the 2/3 spots, including Bailey it'll be interesting to see how they hold up over their four days but I'm excited to watch.

I haven't had a chance to see [player_tooltip player_id='534428' first='Aubrey' last='Kroymann'] this AAU season but that all changes this weekend. Kroymann is a dominating post prospect, who is slowly expanding her play-style over the years with her hard-work in the offseason. When she first started out her high school career, she was a "sit in the post" and back to the basket type player but as she has gotten older, she has learned to step out to the perimeter and screen or she can move to 15ft and knock down a jumper when she has time. She is on an [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] team that has a lot of solid players, who will play at the next level so it should be a fun watch, no matter what.

I've already said that the [program_tooltip program_id='716192' first='Wolverinas' last=''] program is one to know and that they bring a lot of talent to the hardwood. Someone else from their 15U team that I'll be paying attention to is [player_tooltip player_id='515523' first='Iris' last='Jordan']. Jordan is more of your scrappy, Swiss army knife type prospect. She works hard on and off of the ball, while understanding that the game is usually it's most successful when you can contribute without the ball in your hands. Jordan is a multiple sport athlete and also a great student in the classroom. These things are going to give her more options to her college career when it comes that time. Something that will be here before you know it.
