Captain Conan fully understands that life is not fair! However, I learned from my young niece a couple of years back that there is no reason I can't try to “make life fair.”

In this edition of the Coverage Club, I found a group of five Kansas prospects who have not been featured at Prep Girls Hoops in the last six months.

I know it's a small gesture, but it's one way to try to make life a little fairer for prospects at small schools or with little or no social media presence.

It also serves as a nice reminder for Kansas athletes that the best advocate you have is yourself. Don't be shy and feel free to reach out to me via email at deckscoutks@gmail.com or DM me @KSScoutDeck if I can be of assistance in your recruiting process.

The Prep Network Brand in Kansas has been rapidly growing the past month, as well as the size of my coaching network.

[player_tooltip player_id='773198' first='Riley' last='Kerwin'], 5'3”, PG, St. James Academy, ‘25

Kerwin is currently ranked No. 50 overall by Prep Girls Hoops Kansas. She averaged 8.5 points per game for the Thunder as a junior. She was a 31 percent shooter from 3-point range. She also shot an impressive 76 percent from the free throw line, but needs to be more aggressive in getting to the line. She made just 29 free throw attempts but converted 22 of them. She is a skilled passer, who needs to look to score more during her senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='822641' first='Rhema' last='Stemmons'], 5'7”, PG, Olathe North, ‘25

Olathe North point guard Stemmons is ranked No. 47 overall. She has cat-like quickness and dishes the ball with confidence. She averaged 2.4 assists per game as a junior. She is a pass-first point guard as she did not shoot the ball often during the 2023-2024 prep season. She took just 91 shots from the field in 22 games. Stemmons plays plus defense and can control the tempo of a game. She values each possession and takes care of the rock.

[player_tooltip player_id='649152' first='McCoy' last='Phister'], 5'3”, PG, Kapaun Mt. Carmel, ‘26

Phister is a dual-sport prospect who has not recently been featured. Prep Girls Hoops has her currently ranked No. 56 overall. Prep Dig has her ranked No. 31 overall for her volleyball skills. She averaged 9.1 points per game in 17 varsity games as a sophomore. On the volleyball court, she recorded 637 assists in 80 sets for Kapaun. She is quick and athletic. She is an unselfish player in both sports and is a 2026 prospect to keep an eye on.

[player_tooltip player_id='525605' first='Imani' last='McGlory'], 5'7”, SG, Topeka West, ‘26

McGlory was last featured during the prep season. I scouted Topeka West in a game against Seaman. McGlory finished her season scoring an average of 13.2 points per game. She is highly skilled in every facet of the game and was forced to carry the load for a young Chargers squad last season. Along with her scoring skills, she averaged 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 steals per contest. The young shooting guard is ranked No. 75 overall by Prep Girls Hoops in the Kansas Class of 2026 rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='922987' first='Josie' last='Havercamp'], 6'0”, PF, Centralia, ‘27

Havercamp is a dual-sport prospect from a small school. I have seen Havercamp play volleyball in person, but not basketball. In fact, I plan on scouting her and her Centralia volleyball teammates later this week. She has a big-time vertical and I have a picture in mind of how dangerous she can be. If Havercamp wants to play collegiately she needs to have a larger presence on social media. I could not find an X account, HUDL account, or public stats for her. She is currently ranked No. 46 overall by Prep Girls Hoops.
