Juniors Excel at the GVSU Team Camp

Reese demonstrated exceptional court vision when leading the break, fearlessly taking on opposition and consistently drawing fouls to reach the free-throw line. Her ability to consistently make shots from behind the arc was on full display at the GVSU camp. Lexi is an impressive ball-handler and handled the pressure for her Grand Ledge team. She sees the floor well and can create shots for herself or her teammates. She is poised under pressure and has good handles. She is not afraid to attack the hoop and will make the right reads while attacking. Some may underestimate how a good screener can make things happen on offense, but I was noticing just how wide-open she was getting her teammates. She used her length on the defensive end to cause havoc to her opponents and finished with numerous blocks. She showed her strength with a strong one-handed pass the length of the floor after a steal or defensive rebound. She has great footwork around the rim with her back to the basket or facing up. She works hard on the glass and had numerous offensive boards for put-backs.
