These are some of the first players I saw after being asked to switch to the girls side a year and a half ago. The Top 250 was an eye opener for me. These were incoming freshman, and sophomores for the most part. Girls basketball has taken on a new level in the past twenty years. Here's my then and now evaluation. All of these playes were on the all-tournament team at the Top 250 two years ago.

Then: Portia was a bulldog at the point guard position. She was consistently attacking the basket. The quickness was a difference maker in the Top 250. She had good lateral quicks on D and picked pockets regularly. A standout true point guard in the making.

Now: You wanna know if a player works on their craft. She does. Her three point shot looks like a knock down great shooter. She has excellent handles and PG game sense. Noticeably better is her shooting. The mechanics are on point. A 1st team all King-Co pick, she is making waves. Check the video for work ethic.

https://x.com/portiapolo2025/status/1698862080584278477?t=mCpnRDI4T05Iw4nj1WucmA&s=19

Then:Megan had never played a high school basketball game yet as far as I know.
