The bond with this team was unbelievable from the start and that's what made them tough to beat.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>PHD: How did your team overcome adversity?</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"<em>They stuck together, always believing in one another and fighting till that very last possession.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>PGHD: What are a few things your team improved on?</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"<em>As with any AAU team you just continue to get to know one another during practices and games/tournaments. This team improved every time they stepped on the floor, even when we had a little adversity (injuries).</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>PGHD: Who were your top shooters?</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"<em>We had the ability to score from all three levels - we had great post play with <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='375796' first='Brooklynn' last='Felchle']</strong> and <strong>Julia MacAdams</strong> - we had forwards who could shoot the three and put the ball on the floor and create with <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='894002' first='Jayden' last='Sonnenberg']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='641204' first='Taylor' last='Majkrzak']</strong>, and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='641200' first='Megan' last='Dietz']</strong> - we had guards that were great in transition and also had the ability to get to the rim or pull up and shoot the three with <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='398151' first='Zoie' last='Austin']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='525627' first='Nora' last='Roney']</strong>, and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='464291' first='Whitney' last='Welk']</strong>.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>PGHD: Who was your best rebounder?</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"<em>Our three bigs <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='375796' first='Brooklynn' last='Felchle']</strong>, <strong>Julia MacAdams</strong>, and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='894002' first='Jayden' last='Sonnenberg']</strong> did a great job on the boards, but our team focus for the summer was defense and rebounding. As mentioned above our focus was defense. Every girl was suppose to be able to shut down their own girl. If we got beat it was our responsibility to help, rotate and recover. Wonderful players, parents, and families. Big things are coming their way in college basketball.
