Select Super Showcase Day One Review

Teams from the S40 and P24 circuits going head to head make for an exciting week of basketball at the Select Super Showcase! She worked for positioning inside to secure an offensive rebound and then score off two in the paint. She scans the floor for open teammates to push the ball in transition. Jailyn attacks well off the dribble and beats defenders with a burst. She constantly battles inside for rebounds and hits the deck for 50/50 balls. Kiera scored off two effectively in the paint in transition and after an entry pass. She used a fancy inside pivot high-rip step through to score inside and scored after a contested layup using a drop step. Kiera battled for an offensive rebound and blocked a shot from behind. She swatted away many shots in the paint without fouling and secured defensive rebounds against multiple opponents fighting for the ball. Lilly drove hard from up top past her defender to score a left layup at the rim and showed her outside range by knocking down a 3-pointer up top. Lilly set the tone with her toughness rebounding and protecting the rim in the paint. She attacked downhill full speed off the dribble to score a layup through contact and then knocked down her free throw. She pushed the ball full speed in transition off of a defensive rebound to get to the line and hit another free throw, then extended her shot beyond the arc to sink a wing 3.
