Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Liz has blossomed into one of the top forward prospects in this class. Her height, two-way impact, and skills in the post translate to a high level of college basketball. She received SVL All-Conference Second Team honors at Mount Pleasant, averaging a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds per game, while shooting 70% from the charity stripe. Liz made a great impression in her first tourney with MBA UAA at the PGH Great Lakes Kickoff. Her touch around the rim, persistent rebounding, consistency at the free-throw line, and length impressed our PGH scouts.

Anytime you have a baller that is 6’2 and is consistent from the charity stripe, on top of rebounding and scoring, you’ve got yourself a gem! Laney can clean it up inside- she’s a tough assignment to keep off the boards! Soft touch around the rim!

Elizabeth has an extremely high ceiling as a post prospect, and her towering height will immediately grab the attention of college coaches. She had an outstanding sophomore season for Mount Pleasant, receiving SVL All-Conference Second Team honors. Elizabeth posted multiple double-double performances. She finishes with touch around the basket, has good hands, and is an effective rebounder. Her length and instincts around the rim are going to make high-percentage shots a challenge for opponents. Elizabeth will be a matchup problem at the Headliners Invitational Showcase on Sunday.

Elizabeth is a forward prospect who has length and mobility that immediately stand out on the court. She proved her college potential at elite camps in front of both our scouts. Elizabeth separated herself at SVSU Elite Camp, moving well without the ball, demonstrating skilled footwork, blocking shots, rebounding, and finishing with good touch around the basket. At Ferris Elite Camp, Elizabeth dominated the glass, kept the ball high, and won the battle for positioning. She hasn’t hit her ceiling yet and looks ready for a stellar sophomore season at Mount Pleasant.

Elizabeth had a strong day at the Ferris Elite Camp, standing out with her presence in the paint. As a center, she consistently kept the ball high after securing it, allowing her to finish efficiently around the rim without giving defenders a chance to strip it. She controlled the boards on both ends, using her size, strength, and positioning to dominate the glass all day long.

Elizabeth has length, mobility, and basketball skills that will make her a highly sought-after front-court prospect when it’s all said and done. She separated herself as a top forward prospect at the SVSU Elite Camp, starting with the eleven-man drill. Elizabeth scored a backdoor layup, finishing a drop-step layup with her left hand off two feet, and added a high-handed block in the paint. During the 3v3 segment, she scored an offensive rebound put back, tied up an unsuspecting dribbler on a double-team, and deflected a shot attempt with textbook wall-up defense. Elizabeth scored a soft jump-hook during 5v5, and she will be a top post prospect in the SVL this winter.

Elizabeth is a 2028 center who caught my attention playing with Mystics Regional 2027 during the travel season. She has good footwork as a back to the basket post and finishes effectively off two feet. Elizabeth is an aggressive shot blocker, rebounder, and high effort player. I expect Elizabeth to be an asset for the Oilers inside and to develop into one of the premier post prospects in the SVL.

Liz is a tall and competitive 2028 center prospect playing up with Mystics Regional-2027. She constantly battles inside for rebounds and hits the deck for 50/50 balls. Liz converted a soft finish in the paint off two and is a tough competitor with high potential.
