Class 3A: Senior Players to Watch

Gianna is a multi-sport athlete for the Razors also excelling on the volleyball court in the fall. She really moves well from side to side around the block inside the paint. Gianna has soft hands to catch anything thrown in her direction. She can handle the rock up the floor at times if needed when called upon. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gianna averaged 9.4 ppg and 9.9 rebounds last season. Look for those numbers to improve this season. She will take her talents to Columbia College to play for the Lady Koalas. Krislyn will also play softball in college at Columbia College. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wilder averaged 16.3 ppg, 4.1 rebounds and 3.6 steals last year for the Lady Panthers. Richburg a left-handed forward plays all over the floor for the Lady Lions. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>She does her best work it seems is around the bucket scoring the ball. Janiya averaged 13.4 ppg, 14 rebounds, 5.8 steals, 4.4 blocks and 2.9 assists last season. She will look to handle the rock up the floor at times and look to attack at all times. Janiya likes to play the game downhill to the bucket. She plays very active on the glass on both ends of the court. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Janiya surely has no problems picking up a few bruises along the way. She will dive on the deck every time for a loose ball. Mariah is back at Dillon HS for the Lady Wildcats. Campbell a point guard averaged 11 ppg, 5.6 rebounds and 2.5 steals last season for the Lady Wildcats (19-6). </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>She really keeps the ball low to the deck and can touch the paint when needed. Mariah always seems to be under control while on the floor leading from out top. After being injured during her sophomore season she came back last season with a solid year. Schepp plays her best basketball outside on the perimeter knocking down shots from long distance. Ella Mae is more of a left-handed shooting specialist for Head Coach Mandy Harrison. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ella Mae recently picked up an offer from University of West Florida a NCAA D2 program in Pensacola.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>She tends to always be in shooting position to receive the ball in the pocket from behind the three-point line or even at times from the short corner.
