Below are five returning uncommitted prospects that will be returning to the D1 Class this upcoming Winter at the Varsity level. Each player listed is someone that controlled the glass and rebounded for some major numbers last Winter, averaging a high amount of RPG with whatever perspective Varsity program they were competing with.

Blue Hill High School has had prospects noticed the past couple of years on the hardwood. One that will be lacing up for her last go-around at the high school level is 2025 SG, [player_tooltip player_id='369534' first='Reece' last='Mlady']. Mlady jumps out on this list because she is a top rebounder throughout the D2 Class as a Shooting Guard, meaning that she boards hard on both sides of the basketball and she is willing to mix it up-physically with others in the paint, while also being a thorough prospect shooting the basketball from all around the floor. She is a Top 75 rated prospect throughout the state of Nebraska in the 2025 Class currently and she will look to build on that moving into this Winter season.

Last year was the first Varsity Basketball season for [player_tooltip player_id='820521' first='Payton' last='Stienike'] at Brady High School and she put up some noteworthy numbers while competing with her squad. She finished off her season with 10.4 PPG on 36% shooting, including getting to the free throw line for 155 attempts in 23 contests, as she brought in just over 8 RPG as well. By the numbers, you can tell that Stienike has some promise when she is out there, giving it her all. If she can use the foundation she put in place last Winter to set herself up for success this Winter, I'm sure she is going to put together a memorable season to say the least.

[player_tooltip player_id='865329' first='Mya' last='Lewis'] of North Central High School is an interesting prospect not just because she averaged impressive numbers as a Freshman on Varsity last season but because she she averaged more Offensive Rebounds Per Game than Defensive Rebounds Per game. This isn't something that is the most common occurrence. Usually it's a big differential in the favor of Defensive Rebounds Per Game and in this case, it's about even but Offensive did edge out Defensive as a whole on the season. This just means that Lewis works just as hard around the paint on offense to get the ball, as she does on defense. She still has three more years of Varsity ball to do some damage so it'll be awesome to see how she grows. If she keeps on working, she has a bright future in-between the painted lines.

When you look at [player_tooltip player_id='758811' first='Emma' last='Fisher']'s size, you see that she only stands between 5'8-5'9 but she really dominates the area near the blocks, on both sides of the floor. From what I've seen, Fisher is an aggressive finisher, that understands where she wants to go with the ball once she catches with her back to the basket. She is someone that limits her dribbles, keeping her turn over opportunities to a minimum and her efficiency to a maximum. Another factor to note is that Fisher put up respectable numbers last season across the board-statistically because of her athletic ability and awareness of where the ball is going to come off of the rim on missed shot attempts. As long as this ability continues and she works on expanding her play-style away from the basket some more, she is going to be a well-rounded prospect before you know it.

Lillie Kriz of East Butler High School returns to the D2 Class this Winter as a Top RPG throughout the state. Kriz doesn't really have any basketball tape out there but on the Volleyball court she is their Middle Hitter, demonstrating her mixture of athleticism and calculated judgement that she has to make in the middle of the floor for her team while striking or pass the ball. Kriz grabbed 7 RPG last Winter during her Sophomore campaign and I'm sure that number will rise this over these next eight months.
