PGHNJ has just updated it's rankings and with so much movement and shifting comes a NEW-LOOK TOP 10! This season of AAU hoops brought all the smoke, with these ladies showcasing their talents for all to see at tournaments in Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and beyond. Let's dive in:

[player_tooltip player_id='651517' first='Aleah' last='Sunkins'] | Franklin | Jersey Gemz

State Rank: #1 | Position Rank: #1

Number 1 remains number 1! Li had an incredibly productive summer and recently racked up D1 offers from New Hampshire and Monmouth after a strong showing at Nike Nationals. She tore it up at every live EYBL Session (Boo Williams, Houston, Louisville, Chicago) and left coaches impressed at Jersey Live in June. She has the size and advanced skill-set to not only be lethal at the SF spot, but also make an impact playing 1-4. She's a total gym rat who is constantly in the lab working on her craft; it's no days off for her! She capped off the season on Nike's biggest stage in Chicago, averaging 12 ppg and 6 rpg against some of the country's top programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='667787' first='Jacqueline' last='Edelman'] | Morris Catholic | HUrban Legends

State Rank: #2 | Position Rank: #1

To be on a team with the Pauldo twins and still shine bright, that's when you know you're good! She made her presence felt on the Power 24 circuit, torching opponents at events like Heart of Texas (where they went 5-0) and helping her squad win the I CAN Classic and $10,000 NIL prize. During the scholastic live period, the girls from Morris Catholic reunited at Best of Maryland to take on nationally ranked powers from across the country, ultimately defeating in-state foe Red Bank Catholic in the Championship game. Jax used her savvy and versatile play to sizzle from 3-point land and made plays in and around the paint. Super coachable and super skilled, this girl is a P5 lock!

[player_tooltip player_id='835906' first='El-Anita' last='Joe-Samuel'] | Lenape | Jersey Gemz

State Rank: #3 | Position Rank: #2

After a big freshman season, EAJS carried all of that state championship momentum into the summer and had coaches dropping their jaws on the Nike circuit. She was a standout in 16U in just about every event she competed in, showing off devastating 3-point shooting, tough rips to the rim and a ton of strength and grit. She made waves at Jersey Live and was one of the highest scorers of the weekend. Her tenacious style of play earned her D1 offers in July from New Hampshire and Mount St. Mary's, with many more to follow!

[player_tooltip player_id='651496' first='Ashley' last='Kreiger'] | Ranney | Philly Rise

State Rank: #4 | Position Rank: #1

A stretch 5 with big size and an even bigger game, Ashley turned it up a notch this summer and showed out at EYBL stops around the country. It's tough to label her as just one thing, because she handles the ball well, runs like a guard, posts up like a center but isn't afraid to stretch out and show her range from 15-18 feet, and even the occasional pop from behind the arc! Her signature shot, a one leg fade in the mid post, is a thing of beauty! Adding to an already stacked pile, she picked up D1 offers from Fairfield and Penn State after a phenomenal showing in Louisville. Ashley moves up four spots from 8 to 4.

[player_tooltip player_id='651518' first='Lauryn' last='Downing'] | St. Thomas Aquinas | [program_tooltip program_id='714664' first='Team' last='Sharp']

State Rank: #5 | Position Rank: #1

Lauryn dominated Select 40 events near and far with her shifty ball handling and laser sharp court vision. With a 4-0 weekend at the Spring Classic, she got off to a sizzling start with [program_tooltip program_id='714664' first='Team' last='Sharp'] and didn't cool off one bit as the season progressed. On the biggest stages at live period events in Ohio and Kentucky, she shined the brightest, putting her savvy PG play on full display. She also helped STA achieve a 3-0 record at Philly Live during the scholastic live period in front of more than a few D1 college coaches. Lauryn moves up one spot from 6 to 5.

[player_tooltip player_id='677601' first='Lola' last='McGonigle'] | Wildwood Catholic | Comets

State Rank: #6 | Position Rank: #2

Lola moves up four spots from 10 to 6, making her the greatest gainer inside the Top 10. I had a front row seat to just about every single event she played in this summer and with each passing weekend, she continued to improve and build upon her ever-evolving skillset. Competing against the best teams from across the country on the Under Armour circuit, she performed at a high level, banging in deep 3's and dishing out some nifty dimes. She's added a consistent pull-up mid-range jumper to her game, which has taken her arsenal to the next level. I was most impressed by her play at the invite-only NCAA Academy/USA Basketball Championships. With a stellar showing against Texas powerhouse CyFair Elite, she proved that she belonged!

[player_tooltip player_id='789186' first='Zoe' last='Wasserlauf'] | Tenafly | Exodus NYC

State Rank: #7 | Position Rank: #3

Zoe took on the best EYBL programs in the country and held her own, playing both hard-nosed offense and defense. Battling against teams such as Why Not Premier, Philly Rise, Team Durant and Tree of Hope, she kept her foot on the gas and imposed her game. Speedy and savvy with sensational vision! Her excellent performance at the Gym Rat Challenge helped Exodus secure the 15U Platinum ‘Chip! She concluded her stellar summer season in Chicago at Nike Nationals, playing in front of coaches from nearly every major program in the country.

[player_tooltip player_id='677128' first='Leayana' last='Dorville'] | Teaneck | iExcel

State Rank: #8 | Position Rank: #3

Playing in front of packed crowds in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky, Leayana had the hot hand in helping her squad upset teams from multiple circuits. Her versatile playing style was scary good at Spooky, sizzled at Hoosier Heat and made waves at The Splash. She has added more strength to her frame and is even quicker than just a few months ago! What I love most about watching her is the quiet manner in which she goes about her business, playing confident and composed basketball. No theatrics or overly flashy demeanor, just efficient!

[player_tooltip player_id='835821' first='Sarae' last='Croley-Battle'] | Piscataway | NY Gauchos

State Rank: #9 | Position Rank: #4

Making her debut in the Top 10, Sarae moves up 8 spots thanks to a huge summer on the Adidas circuit. She stood out at non-live period events at Insider Exposure. the NJ Jam Fest and Spooky Nook. Big time performances at 3SSB live sessions in Texas and South Carolina solidified her as one to watch in this Class. She continues to add to her game and load up her arsenal with even more firepower. There are no off days for SCB, because when she's not putting in work on the hardwood, she's training behind the scenes, working on her fitness and conditioning.

[player_tooltip player_id='651485' first='Kaitlyn' last='Platt'] | Gill St. Bernard's | United NJ

State Rank: #10 | Position Rank: #2

Kaitlyn proved that she can dominate from the guard spot but also play out of position and do it very well! She had a stacked schedule from April through July, kicking off the season at the New England Spring Showdown in April and wrapping up at the National Championship (Louisville) in July. Competing on the P24 circuit, she got everyone's best effort and not only matched it, but at times, showed that she was one of the most versatile players in the field! Memorable performances include clutch shooting versus Bay State at the Prime Event East, strong two-way game against the Banshees in Ohio and a 3-1 record at Run 4 Roses in the wildly difficult Aqua pool. A new addition to GSB this winter, she will bring her A game to make the Knights a top contender in Non-Public B.
