July Evaluation: Team Curry

Baxter is getting better and better on the court. She is scoring with force in the paint and tracking down rebounds with effort. On defense, she is not afraid of contact. Baxter holds her own and battles. She has the skill, the athletic ability, and the length to be an exceptional player in college.     [player_tooltip player_id='275249' first='Kate' last='Sears'] is really fun to watch on the basketball court. She can create space for her pretty jump shot at any point. She can also connect on multiple three-point field goals. When Sears has the ball in her hands, you have to watch and see what is going to happen next. She could shoot a deep three in the defender's face or take them off the dribble and score at the rim. Sears is a special player with unlimited potential.     Blackwell is a lights-out shooter. She can also score at the rim, in transition, or from the midrange. If Blackwell gets a good look at the hoop, the basketball has a terrific chance of going in. Blackwell stays shot-ready for [program_tooltip program_id='713540' first='Team' last='Curry'] and her teammates find her with consistency.     Gaskin is an extraordinary talent who has immense potential. She runs the floor with the guards, she rebounds out of her area with ease, and she can score inside or out. On defense, Gaskin can block or alter several shots per game. Gaskin is so much more than a post player. She can put the basketball on the floor and she has spectacular court vision as well. Gaskin is an elite player who is going to be very fun to watch in the coming years.     Minus had an exceptional summer on the court with [program_tooltip program_id='713540' first='Team' last='Curry']. She earned multiple Power 5 offers, and it was easy to see why. Minus could change a game on offense, on defense, or on the glass. On offense, Minus can score from anywhere. She has great touch and a good feel. Defensively, she uses her length to block shots and create steals that lead to easy buckets for her squad.
