Valentine had the look of a confident shooter. She didn't just bury a 3, it came down and snapped through the net.

Alyssa Jones (University High School Academy) - Jones showed the ability to get a tough shot off from mid range. She used solid body control and athleticism to bank it in.

[player_tooltip player_id='980245' first='Makayla' last='Campbell'] (DEPSA) - DEPSA has a strong tradition sending great players to the Prep Girls Hoops showcase events. Campbell looked like next player up this weekend. She was a creative shooter that stayed balanced and made tough shots look easy.

Stephens was so tough to defend all day at the Freshman Showcase. Shooting was 1 aspect of a terrific all around game that stood out. She could shoot off the dribble or the catch. Perhaps her most impressive shot of the day was a corner pull up triple.

Rowan Matice (St. Johns) - Matice is a prospect that put her name on the map over the weekend. She has the chance to be a dangerous shooter over the next few years. Matice filled it up from multiple locations on the perimeter, showing that she was comfortable at the top, on the wings and in the corner.

[player_tooltip player_id='980249' first='Jayna' last='Burmeister'] (Shelby) - Shooting off the move and off the bounce is tough. Well, Burmeister showed that she can do just that. She flaunted a pretty pull up wing triple.

Mariam Fakhoury (Utica Eisenhower) - Fakhoury stood out with her mid range game. She had a nice little elbow jumper that she hit at the Freshman Showcase. Anybody that takes and makes from mid range gets my attention.

Bossick hit a couple really nice triples that I saw this weekend. She was pass ready and hit a catch and shoot 3 in rhythm. Bossick also hit a buzzer beating triple later in the day.

Sienna Slack (Traverse City Central) - Slack has one of the smoothest shooting strokes that I saw in the gym. She showed touch from mid range and was able to get the ball off in traffic. Slack also showed her 3 point range at the Freshman Showcase as well.

Bella Flavin (Clarkston) - Flavin is on the map as a talented prospect and it showed in her shot. She proved to be very comfortable and effective off the catch, hitting them from the top and the wing.
