[player_tooltip player_id='582831' first='Joelle' last='Johnson'] is a prospect that is the definition of someone who has made a case for themselves on any court they have been competing on since she was a Freshman at Pleasantville High School. Johnson's progression over the past three years has been impressive. She has slowly learned the game of basketball more and more from a tactical perspective, while expanding her game to being pretty solid at overall everything on the floor. Moving into this Senior season, Johnson is going to have a really good shot at putting up some big time numbers across the state in a couple different positive statistical categories and I hope it doesn't stop there. This is someone that could bring a lot of positives to a college roster at the end of the day. She is more determined than most I've seen from this 2025 Class with how much she works to be the best version of herself and in the long run, that's going to help her not only in the game of basketball but also in the game of life.

Roland-Story is always one of those programs that is in the conversation to make it to the State Floor at the end of the year for their perspective Class because of their mixture of talented athletes, intelligent coaching staff, and strategy on the court. One of their most important pieces returning this season from a year ago is Forward, [player_tooltip player_id='311371' first='Claire' last='Truesdell']. Truesdell is really the anchor for their group at times and I know she is going to end off her Senior year of high school ball with a bang. This AAU season, she has been playing her game and she has been a constant on the floor, which is really all you can ask for from a coaching perspective. As long as she continues to play to her full capabilities, I'm sure that we will be hearing more about her this upcoming Winter with how much she could produce.

Each time that I've had the chance to sit down and see [player_tooltip player_id='777235' first='Molli' last='Rosloniec'] compete live, she impresses me with her decision making when she touches the ball offensively, while being someone that stands out as she competes on the defensive side of things as well. Rosloniec is going to be retuning to Saint Albert this year, looking to build on a successful Sophomore season from last Winter and I expect nothing less. Rosloniec has size at 5'11 at PF, she is coordinated and balanced in her movements, and she understands that staying disciplined could mean the difference between staying in a contest for the long haul or riding the bench for the rest of the game. Something that many still don't understand at this age just yet. This Saint Albert group is going to return a handful of interesting prospects that they had a year ago so as long as they all trust in each other and work as a single unit, they should win some heavily anticipated contests this season. Easier said than done but this group's pieces are VERY interesting, so it all just depends how they fit together in the end.

The first big scholarship offer is usually the hardest to get. After that is when several other schools at that level or even in the same conference, will look to see how good that prospect is, in case they might want to offer them as well. In this case, we are talking about [player_tooltip player_id='795874' first='LJ' last='Maehl'] of Fort Dodge High School and [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] 10th EYCL. Maehl has recently been offered by Truman State, making this her first D2 offer in the books. Maehl got to this point by consistently working on her craft in the past few off-seasons and when you pair that with her natural size at 6'0, you start to see the future possibilities. She just ended off her AAU season on a really positive note, helping her team make it all the way to the EYCL 10th grade Championship in Chicago and I think her performances there stuck with a lot of recruiters in attendance. LJ made a case for herself this entire AAU season as a whole and I hope she continues to build on that moving into this Fall

[player_tooltip player_id='881948' first='Graysyn' last='Downing'] is going to have a chance to step up this Winter and put together a season to remember from the looks of it. Downing averaged 8.8 PPG as a Sophomore last season for the Trojans, while also tallying 4 RPG, and 2 SPG in her efforts. This season, her goal will be to continue to produce on offense by scoring the ball efficiently, as she attempts to cut down on her turnovers. If she can do that, I really think it will take her game to a whole other level. She has demonstrated this AAU season her ability to do all of these things at a high rate so translating that ability to the high school floor shouldn't be a problem and with their leading producer from a year ago now gone due to graduation, Downing should have even more opportunity to prove herself. Something I'm sure she will take full advantage of as she continues to work on her craft.
