[player_tooltip player_id='957838' first='Presley' last='Prill'] of [program_tooltip program_id='715980' first='Team' last='Iowa'] just put together a season to remember with her 2027 team. Prill is a 5'6 prospect, that will be attending West Burlington High School in the future, who is going to be very, very good by the time that she gets to high school. Against the competition that she is currently playing against now on a regular basis, she could be averaging 30 PPG but instead she gets her teammates involved and does other things like rebound, defend, and create turnovers. Prill is very solid right now for her age and she is only going to get better with experience. Which is kind of scary if you know how good she is now. Especially for her age level.

The Mount Vernon Mustangs are going to return a lot of talent from a year ago to this Winter's Varsity roster so it's going to be hard for underclassmen to see the floor consistently but they should have two that have the possibilities of making that happen and one of them is [player_tooltip player_id='957840' first='Savanna' last='Wright']. Wright competes with the [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] for AAU ball and she has been one of their most consistent producers on her team all season long. She has a better than average handle, she can defend her position, and she can knock down shots back on rotation after she creates for others. If she slowly gets acclimated with the Mustangs group, she is going to be one of their "next up" prospects in a short few years to come.

For her age, [player_tooltip player_id='896729' first='Charlotte' last='Hoffman'] has solid size at 5'9 and she is slowly learning how to use that size to her advantage. Hoffman is going to be fundamental and consistent when she gets to the high school level with all the experience she is receiving on the hardwood right now. This is someone that stays dedicated in their offseason to the sport, while understanding that learning this game is a process that takes time and you can't rush that. The [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] do a great job as a program of developing their prospects from a young age and I think that will be the case in this situation as well.

Like I've said, it's tough to crack the Dowling Catholic starting rotation at the Varsity level. It doesn't matter if you are extremely skilled or not. The Maroons have their crew, they know what the goal in mind is and nothing is going to get in their way. Someone new that is coming into this system, who will have to be patient is [player_tooltip player_id='957836' first='Grace' last='Bordenaro']. Bordenaro showed some promise this AAU season with her North Tartan 2028 group. She is going to be a respectable prospect out of Iowa for years to come when she see's the Varsity floor but that most likely won't be this upcoming season. We will have to wait and see though.

MJ Leonard or McKenlee Leonard competes in 3-4 sports, demonstrating that she is very active and athletic in everything she does. On the basketball court, she competes as a Forward/3-guard right now because of her size and skill-set but I'm sure that will change over-time. Usually in these situations, prospects like Leonard turn into solid PG's or SG's at around 5'7-5'8. If she can use some of that athleticism when she competes in the future and she works on the skill-side this next twelve months, I'm sure she is going to look like a natural walking onto the high school scene before you know it in a couple of years. Whatever high school that may be.
