This weekend was Truman State's Elite Camp, hosted by their coaching staff down in Missouri. Throughout the day, several prospects stood out that were competing. In this piece, we touch on five individuals that played extremely well, while showing that they have a D2 level skill-set, at the very least.

As of most recent, [player_tooltip player_id='276517' first='Rylee' last='McLucas'] has stepped away from Nebraska to join [program_tooltip program_id='715781' first='Link' last='Academy'] in Missouri to finish out her high school career and she is already making a bang. McLucas stood out on the day as someone with a superior mixture of shooting ability, size, and skill. She demonstrated that she is a handful to deal with in 1v1 situations defensively and she is productive in most moves she makes. I think this move to Link is going to be a major one. If she actually see's the floor, it's going to help her tremendously in the long run but as for this Elite camp, she definitely stood out to all the coaches that were watching.

I have had the chance to see Kennedy Retherford the past couple of seasons on the road and I have a feeling that she is going to be a very well-rounded prospect once she gets the Buldogs uniform on, following her Senior season this Winter at Pewaukee High School. Retherford is a calculated attacker, smooth operator, and smart competitor. Her game really screams that she can compete at the D2 level so it'll be nice to see what she can do under Coach Dean at the end of the day. This is a program that usually plays a lot of upperclassmen but if someone comes in and lights it up, I'm sure that could change over-time.

Lilyan Sizemore is someone that I highlighted prior to this event as someone to keep an eye out for and to no surprise, Sizemore did a great job of standing out as one of the best guards throughout the entire camp. Which is pretty impressive considering that Sizemore is one of the younger prospects and she still did a great job against already college committed athletes. Sizemore has a bright future to say the least. She is going to be a D2, borderline D1 prospect by the time her high school career comes to a close and that's awesome to see because she works restlessly at her craft. As long as she continues to stay locked in down the line, she is going to thrive, no matter the exact situation.

[player_tooltip player_id='296935' first='Avery' last='Rausch'] is a SG with solid size, a sweet shooting stroke from deep, and a positive demeanor, no matter the situation. Rausch is going to come into the Bulldogs program in a year as one of their lengthy shooters . I'm not exactly sure of how she will stack up to the other SG's that the team will have on roster then but I would imagine it's a process. This is the type of prospect that is going to be able to be a constant over her collegiate career at Truman. Her natural size and scoring ability is going to lead her to seeing the floor sooner, rather than later and her defense is going to keep her on the floor. With that combination, it'll be hard to pull her off in the long run by my estimations.

One of the state of Iowa's premier PG's out of the 2025 Class is [player_tooltip player_id='311391' first='Morgan' last='Miller'] of Regina Catholic in Iowa City and she has recently committed to Truman State to continue on her basketball journey following high school. Miller is a calculated passer, elite shooter, efficient scorer, and better than average defender. Miller follows the path of her older brother to Truman. Her brother Masen started at Truman as a Freshman and since then, he is now on the roster at North Dakota State for his final season of collegiate ball. During this weekend, Morgan stood out as a top prospect in the building competing. She did more than enough to continue to show the coaching staff for the Bulldogs that once she gets on campus, she is going to be fighting for playing time almost right away and that is something you love to see.
