One of the more underrated Forwards, that the state of Nebraska has to offer is [player_tooltip player_id='316653' first='Annie' last='Gleason'] of Beatrice High School. Gleason is a 5'11 prospect, that is good with her back to the basket in the post. She does a great job of taking her time with her moves, always making sure that she moves in a calculated way, giving it a clean attempt near the paint. Last Winter, her Beatrice team made a state run and Gleason was pivital in their success. She was a force in the middle to be reckoned with and I'm sure that trend will continue as we move into her Senior season, these next few months.

[player_tooltip player_id='316646' first='Cassie' last='Allen'] has put together three respectable high school seasons so far at Crofton and she is going to do much of the same this upcoming season. Allen put up better than average numbers a year ago, she led her team by example with the ball in her possession, and she was someone that made things happen when her team's offense or play structure, fell apart. Allen should be the main producer for her team's during her last go around but it might not show in just the scoring department. She may average a lot of assists, some solid rebounding numbers, while also putting up some points and that overall game, is what should separate her on the floor from most. This is a collegiate level prospect in my opinion in a certain level, she would just need a chance and the rest could be history.

Lincoln Southeast High School is going to return some impressive prospects on the hardwood, including SG, [player_tooltip player_id='316454' first='Mya' last='Montoya']. I had the chance to see Montoya last season on the floor and she brought a positive attitude to the court, while being a solid competitor. She wasn't the most dominant but she definitely showed some skill and promise. This upcoming Winter I would expect for Montoya to have a little bit more of a role on her roster with the experience she gained over the past few years and I'm excited to see how it all translates!

Jayla Gilmore of Bellevue East High School is one of the state's premier Post players and she is looking to put together a special Senior season, prior to leaving for Drury, where she will be competing following her high school career. Gilmore stands at 6'2, she has length, athletic ability, and a lot of confidence on both ends of the court. She is a game changer in the aspects of Rebound, Blocking/Altering Shots, and cleaning up messes on the offensive glass with her ability to get a rebound and a put back, over most who matchup against her. At Drury, Gilmore will fit in the Panthers system with her athletic ability and natural height. If she finds her place within the program early on, she should be a difference maker throughout her career.

[player_tooltip player_id='305775' first='Kamryn' last='Kasner'] of Skutt Catholic has trusted the process up until this point in her career and she is soon going to have her shot to make a big difference for her Varsity team this upcoming season. In a program that always has star prospects, Kasner is someone that could come in and play a pivotal role for her team, in some small ways. It may be a handful of rebounds, it may be some big assists or stops on defense, it really just depends on what her team needs of her. She may not kill you in the scoring category each contest and that's true but if you don't pay attention to her, she could have a sneaky good stat line by the end of the game. It'll all depend how she is used but I'm excited to see what she can do this upcoming Winter.
