However, we do have some girls who will be given the opportunity right out of the gate to do so. This isn't done just by design, but also a testament to their hard work. Yes, some girls around will be fortunate to see earlier court time, yet there will be some who will see spot minutes here and there. Either way, this special class will be some legit contributors when it's all said and done.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In my opinion, this class is one of the more confident bunches coming into high school ever since we started the site. I feel that a lot of these girls get the opportunity to play up and play against quality opponents in the travel ball circuit, coming back to playing local and regional talent seems easier to them. Where I am going with this is that these girls in the 28 class can and will come in and make some noise right from jump. There will be a small learning curve but a lot of these girls are built to handle the pressure and the rigorous journey high school basketball has to offer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From single A to DII, each classification has young ladies who are 28s that will come be difference makers. They all may not come in and light the scoreboard on fire, but their presence on the floor will be felt in a major way. Just remember this is year one for a lot of girls and so there is a learning process that has to take place towards excelling at this game. This kid has speed and playing fast is one attribute she has over others. She can attack gaps to get down hill, pull up in the mid-range and knock shots down at a high clip, unleash it from the arc, hitting the bottom of the net. Love her ability to lock up defensively. Turning over opponents is what she does best from the havoc she creates. She has the ability to play inside and out, stretching the floor and attacking spots she is comfortable with. Defensively, she rebounds well and blocks shots. She brings energy to the party and her team feeds off it. A passionate competitor she leaves no stone unturned as she gets after it each and every possession. Will be stepping into a new environment this upcoming season, but she will be equipped to excel. She's ready for the opportunity and you better believe she will not relinquish the reins of this opportunity until after her senior year. A heady ball player who brings it every possession, providing maximum effort that is favorable to her team. She's a difference maker, a game changer, and once she gets going, she is hard to stop. Anticipates well, leading to turnover opportunities, heading the other way for easy buckets. Naomi is a tough competitor and will be someone you need to keep tabs on throughout her career.
