Sunday, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana held "The Expo" at Fishers High School, showcasing some of the state's top Juniors and Seniors. In the past, the PGH Top-250 Showcase used to encompass all four high school classes, but now with the Freshman Showcase and the Sophomore ID Camp taking place, this focused specifically on the classes of 2025 and 2026. I was familiar with most of the girls from past viewings, but there were a few newbies, some surprises, and all-in-all, everyone played extremely hard and tried to prove themselves at the event in a combination of 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games. The event hosted several quality prospects, making it difficult to limit the strong play to just a handful of players, so I wanted to take the time to discuss everyone from Team-3. There will be additional articles highlighting Teams 4 and 5 over the next couple of days.

#272 [player_tooltip player_id='486552' first='A.J.' last='Mallad'], 2026, 5-6 CG, Borden H.S. - A.J. is an experienced, strong, skillful guard who is just a ballplayer. She can handle the ball like a point guard, she has good vision as well, plus she can knock down open rhythm jumpers when set. When on attack, she absorbs contact well heading North/South to the rim.

#274 [player_tooltip player_id='496055' first='Makenzie' last='Mason'], 2025, 5-6 CG, Jeffersonville H.S. - Makenzie has been a "regular" at PGH Indiana events over the years, and she was very good when I saw her Sunday. She handled the ball a lot more than I recall, she was good in transition, found open teammates, plus she scored it from all three levels consistently.

#282 [player_tooltip player_id='1005166' first='Gisel' last='Lopez'], 2026, 5-8 SG/SF, Fairfield H.S. - This was my first time seeing Gisel in action, but Fairfield has been strong the last few years, and she has nice potential. She is long and wiry, she has end to end speed, and she plays with some bounce. I also really liked her motor. She has a versatile wing skillset as well.

#360 [player_tooltip player_id='524676' first='Nevaeh' last='Hearn'], 2025, 5-5 SG, Decatur Central H.S. - Nevaeh had a strong finish to July, and she was again good Sunday. She is a nice athlete, she possesses speed & quickness, and she is an aggressive attacker. She plays with a nice motor, and I think she could attract small college attention, because she's an effortful defender.

#381 [player_tooltip player_id='567130' first='Gracyn' last='Gilliard'], 2026, 5-10 SG/SF, Center Grove H.S. - [see her review here]

#383 [player_tooltip player_id='665452' first='Grace' last='Goldman'], 2026, 5-11 SF/PF, North Harrison H.S. - When I saw Grace as a Freshman, what stood out was her skillset. Now, two years later, she is noticeably stronger and has a really nice inside-out game. She can battle for rebounds and defend inside, but she also has touch at all three levels, and she can handle it in transition.

#655 [player_tooltip player_id='331803' first='Emma' last='McVey'], 2025, 5-7 SG, Franklin Central H.S. - Over the years, one thing I've learned about Emma is, she's going to compete with a tremendous motor. She is a long, fast lefty who is looking to score on each catch. She can shoot or drive, she can create a little off the bounce, plus she has become a much better defender.

#998 [player_tooltip player_id='486553' first='Natalie' last='Thomas'], 2026, 6-2 C, Fishers H.S. - Natalie has dealt with the injury bug in the past, but she looked healthy and very active all day Sunday. She runs the floor hard, and she's willing to battle and seek physicality inside. She is a nice box-out rebounder, plus she is developing a skillful back-to-basket game.
