She gets the #THROEWBACK because of her "you won't outwork me mindset and you can't teach DESIRE as she outrebounded taller players and scored around the basket, at her size. She's powerful off the dribble, love the crossover in transition as well as the set and the "catch and shoot" 3, JUST DID IT for me. Her ability to mix it up offensively was among the best yet don't get it twisted because her court vision also stood out, threading the needle with blistering passes in traffic, on the money, always riles me up. Off the dribble was nice, and body control helped her finish after contact. After the game I told her I would always be thinking "Don't get shook by Brooke" yet she continues to shake things up in a variety of ways. In the 3 on 3, she facilitated nicely, showed her first step has gotten quicker and her quick hands got her some steals. Her "on the ball" pressure continued when the bright lights came on, but so did her pull-up jumper. She was one of the best scorers in the gym, in both the "3 on 3" and "5 on 5" as her range is unlimited. The release is quick in fluid, she scored off the dribble and finished with either hand yet she set her teammates up for gimmes so her court vision across the board was a big yes. It doesn't take me long to know what I'm looking at, especially when the player is "long and athletic" which is the base, and watching her elevate over everyone to not only score around the basket but to rebound and handle the ball afterward, even go coast to coast to score or dish was just over the top. Her body control attacking the basket was solid as she finished after contact. Her midrange looked good, and so did her court vision in the set. She also blocked shots, altered and deflected a few, scored off the dribble, and played defense in and outside the paint.
