She puts energy into the offense by being willing to get rid of it quick at times, and doesn't pound the ball to death. Is comfortable in the pick and roll, and knows all the read. She's an underrated scorer with an above average three point shot, as well as a craft finisher at the rim (especially when she gets to her righty scoop).

I'm a huge fan of [player_tooltip player_id='631097' first='Kinley' last='Painter']'s game. The Emory and Henry commit is known (at least to me), for her scoring. She put up big numbers last year: 19 points her game with over 2 made threes and decent efficiency numbers.

What I really liked once I saw her live was her style of play. She plays with an energy that pushes her team. She's lighting quick in transition, and does a great job understand exactly when to get rid of the ball, or when to take an extra dribble to make the defense commit. I even saw her put defenders "in jail" in transition--which most HS kids don't have a clue what that even is.

She's also really good in the pick and roll game. Her shooting forces defense to go over or switch, and I saw her make the appropriate reads. Really good player.

Another exceptional passer that makes moving the basketball contagious. One of my favorite teams to watch last summer was Trotters '25 Heifner because White and [player_tooltip player_id='766206' first='Adison' last='Howard'] often shared the floor. Putting two passers like them together just made them fun!

White's greatest strength in my opinion is her versatility on the offensive end. Offensively she was always in attack mode--she was quick but never in a hurry. At times she was slow and methodical....but still probing the defense for a seam.

I think [player_tooltip player_id='889914' first='Malia' last='Wilcox']'s best basketball is still in front of her. She's spent her career playing for a Bradley Central team that is a powerhouse. The good news is that she will likely graduate with three state championships. The bad news is that she's always been in a reserve role.

BUT--I've talked to college coaches who like role players from great programs because the players know how to be patient and be a star in their role. Wilcox is just that. She's an athletic guard that gets downhill in a hurry. Can finish in traffic with either hand. Is still developing as a shooter. Can defend like all get out. She's sitting on multiple offers.

The lefty PG is an excellent offensive player. Her head fake, and hesitations are terrific. Very good at keep defenders off balance, and and soon as their weight shifts, she beats in the initial defender. Exceptional finisher with her left hand. Her AAU team even put in her the post and let her go to work with her left. Really tough matchup. Still a developing shooter.
